This man served/worked 30 years in this job YES it is time to retire. I’m amazed he actually thought he would keep his spots on those commmitties. Did he expect the Democrats who now holds those hard won postions to just step aside because HE wants all his power/cake and eat it too ridiculous.

Arlen Specter had garnered a bit of respect from the “Moderate Middle” of the Democratic party. Then he virtually squandered it, with his verbal blunders of the last couple of days. “Arrogance and/or ignorance” could have him on the ropes, and don’t think for a second the Democrats won’t engage Joe Sestak as a “Hired Gun!”
