ABC News’ David Chalian Reports: The week that was in politics was dominated by President Obama’s selection of Judge Sonia Sotomayor as his nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States.

ABC News’ Senior Legal Correspondent and SCOTUS watcher extraordinaire Jan Crawford Greenburg appeared on ABC News’ “Top Line” to take a look at the Sotomayor rollout and what stumbling blocks, if any, may still lay ahead.
ABC News’ Chief Washington Correspondent and Host of “This Week” George Stephanopoulos also appeared on “Top Line” and sorted through the divide within the Republican Party between elected party officials and the conservative commentators such as Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh who have been busy rallying the base of the party in opposition to Sotomayor.

Be sure to catch “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” on Sunday when Senate Judiciary Committee heavy hitters Chuck Schumer and John Cornyn debate the Sotomayor nomination.
