Abortion, ashmortion…who cares about core values or principles? Obama’s a celebrity…and he’s coming to Notre Dame!! I’m getting tingles up and down my leg thinking about being near him! He knows Oprah, you know!

Good Job President Obama shut it Loony Left and Loony Right Let the President Stay In the Middle

If Obama had one ounce of integrity he would decline the honorary degree from Notre Dame.
He could still speak and all the graduates could attend the ceremony.
Once again he is thinking of himself and seems to revels in the controversy.
I think he loves stirring up trouble, loves being the center of attention.
In some sick way I think he enjoys pitting one group against the other.

It’s good to see top military advisers being listened to, let the experts do their jobs.

Obama was not elected by the extreme left, and he certainly was not elected by the anti-abortion right. He was elected by the majority of the US who is in the middle. And that’s who he is representing, as seen by his consistent approval rating. So I don’t really find it ‘news’ that there he is under fire from the right and left – every president I can remember has been.

That was a good piece Mr. Tapper.

Under Fire from the Left and Right
===================
That can only mean one thing….Obama is steering this country right down the middle as any good president should…Sure beats the severe right turns this country has take in the last eight years….

why should Obama bow down to Christian positions and beliefs as opposed to considering the common good..?
at least these folks who are bent out of shape by Obama visit to N.D. believe in something, even if it’s religion…. unlike the tea party folks who haven’t a clue why they show up and who’s leading them.

“That can only mean one thing….Obama is steering this country right down the middle as any good president should”
He didn’t have a choice. The military leaders laid down the law to him and that, paired the imminent public backlash that would have resulted, would have been far too much for him to weather.
His real self made the initial bad decision, the better decision was made by the force of others.

“Obama was not elected by the extreme left, and he certainly was not elected by the anti-abortion right. He was elected by the majority of the US who is in the middle.”
LOL. He was elected by millions of ignorant Americans who had no clue where he came from, who his mentors were, what he believed, and what he accomplished in life. All they knew was that he wasn’t Bush, he told them what they wanted to hear (via teleprompter), that he planned to end our two wars, and that he was going to give them lots of stuff. And the mainstream media shamelessly promoted him all the way.
Now we’re learning what happens when you elect someone with no core principles or values that are in line with mainstream America…whose decisions are based on doing what’s politically advantageous rather than doing what’s right.

great summary of George W. Bush & Cheney, selected not elected, who along with the Neo-Cons, Conservatives and Republicans continue to try to disassemble America, it will take decades to clean up the republican mess

God help us all! We need another Bush that actually cares about doing the right thing.

I am almost certain that the Chameleon in Chief can strike a balance in his N.D. speech.. the only peeps who should be concerned are the school, the graduates and their families (and ND contributors).

Hillary was brave enough to withstand fire from the left and right.. in Bosnia or somewhere like that.. so buck it up POTUS, this job isn’t just all about being welcomed by kids bearing flowers and waving flags…

Being Notre Dame a catholic university they have to stand for Life. How could they invite president Obama when he is is promoting and funding abortion all over the world with our tax payers’ dollars?

Ever notice how liberals keep bringing Bush into every conversation regardless of topic or relevance. Their obsession with him is quite odd but many liberal voters seem to have the maturity level of school children. Can you ever defend your point of view about anything without bringing up Bush? How emabarrassing that half our country is this immature. Legal voting age should be changed to at least 40. Florida was recounted twice in 2000 and Bush won both times so the selected not elected garbage (that’s real mature it even rhymes!) does not hold any water at all.
