Classic late Friday news dump. The story will be old news by Monday.

Justice Sotomayer’s remark in 2001 should have been stated in a different manner…unfortunately she has failed to understand why America is the greatest country in the world and the many hardships white male veterans, politicians, etc. made for this nation in the past. The men in my family, my father’s family, and his father’s family served in the military and gave honorable service…Sick of hearing about the race card. Affirmative action instead of the best person for the job has not done this country Justice Sotomayer…Read your history books.

We get it Brian. Obama could have avoided being accused of “affirmative action” if he had picked a White Christian Heterosexual Male. Choosing somebody who is not a White Christian Heterosexual Male is clearly evidence this was an “affirmative action” pick.
Let me guess. You are a White Christian Heterosexual Male?

Seems a wise Latina should be able to retract her own comments. Not somebody else who didn’t make the comments. — This from somebody who knows a thing or two about a wise Latina.

Anyone with the slightest bit of objectivity would understand the classic double standard that is at work. Had a white male nominee to the SCOTUS made a similar comment he would be excoriated by the left and their allies in the press.
