From Karen Travers:
PARIS — First lady Michelle Obama and her daughters, Malia and Sasha, stopped by the most famous landmark in Paris today, making a visit to the Eiffel Tower.
Onlookers lined up outside the tower's exits to try and catch a peek of the first family. When they finally did leave the Parisian landmark, Mrs. Obama waved to the crowd and a man greeted them with a "bonjour!"
The Obama girls traveled with their mom to Paris to join the president for the weekend and see the sights and sounds of Europe, an aide said.
The first lady will join President Obama at the ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of the D-Day invasion Saturday. She is expected to stay in Paris for a few days and play tourist with her daughters while her husband travels back to Washington on Sunday.
