Iranian Flags Outside White House Gates

ABC News' Ann Compton reports: On the street infront of the White House, a small group rallied in support of those in Iran challenging the presidential election. More than a dozen people held posters showing pictures of what appeared to be the violence in the streets of Tehran.

It’s good to report on this subject. But I gotta ask:
Where was ABC when the citizens of our nation protested in D.C. on April 15th Tea Parties? There were many more than 12 people at the D.C. Tea Party despite the attempts to block and disburse them by government officials. How about all the the upcoming Tea Parties on July 4th? Will ABC report on how many citizens are protesting the audacious government spending and upcoming tax hikes to pay for it? Unlike the groups supporting Obama Care (do the research on who is paying for these) and despite Pelosi’s charges that they are ‘astroturf’ the Tea Parties are private citizens motivated by what the government is doing and paying for protests out of their own pockets… no very unlike those protesting in Iran.
Will ABC report the Tea Parties on July 4th?

“There were many more than 12 people at the D.C. Tea Party despite the attempts to block and disburse them by government officials”
Wow a whole dozen.
“‘astroturf’ the Tea Parties are private citizens motivated by what the government is doing and paying for protests out of their own pockets… no very unlike those protesting in Iran.”
Yes the Tea Parties (FoxNews trademark pending) are just like the protesting Iranians.
Right wingers have no shame.

Does the Iranian group have it’s permits in order? Or is it ok for them to be there since they are not a Tea Party? Are the government officials harassing them lik they did the April 15th Tea Party protest?

“There were many more than 12 people at the D.C. Tea Party”
They only got a few hundred because not FoxNews celebrity was in attendance.
“despite the attempts to block and disburse them by government officials”
Let’s see first they don’t get a permit then some right wing moron threw a package over the WH fence.
Given the right wing propensity for violence, the Secret Service had to check it out.

“Does the Iranian group have it’s permits in order? Or is it ok for them to be there since they are not a Tea Party? Are the government officials harassing them lik they did the April 15th Tea Party protest?”
Like Pete Hoekstra and other craven right wingers before her, sadie claims angry FoxNews viewers are just like the protesting Iranians.

Please get your facts straight.
Fox were the only outfit willing to cover the story… and most of the Tea Parties were not covered. It was not a Fox supported movement. It started long before Fox decided to show up and cover the protests.
As for the snark about numbers…. it only took a dozen for ABC to show up for the Iranian support, but hundreds in D.C. and hundreds of thousands across the nation was not newsworthy for the MSM.

Sheesh, I’d be embarrassed to post comments without facts to back them. But that does not seem to be the case for those who merely want to dis high numbers of ordinary citizens know how to read, do simple math, and have the common-sense to understand Obama’s plans won’t work. Having a brain isn’t exclusive to right wing people or Fox viewers.

“Fox were the only outfit willing to cover the story”
ROFLMAO!
Fox was the only outfit willing to PROMOTE it for a solid few weeks including having their news personalities as a crowd attractions.
Every news organization covered the tea parties.
“… and most of the Tea Parties were not covered. It was not a Fox supported movement. It started long before Fox decided to show up and cover the protests.”
Long before?
The whole “tea party” concept start with Rick Santelli’s angry rant in mid February.

I am surprise POTUS Obama has not put the Iranian flag on top of the White House.

Sadie:”Fox were the only outfit willing to cover the story.”
The facts can be easily referenced by anyone willing to look at the archived pages of any of the mainstream media sites from that day. Every one covered it. The teaparties actually made a good conflict story line and received more coverage than the Obama house parties for healthcare that occurred around the same time with similar attendance numbers (a dismal failure actually considering their much larger established base).
Those are facts and I invite anyone to check out the archive section of your favorite MSM site to verify.

All I can say is: Right, the MSM who did cover it called the citizens names and made lewd sexual jokes. Only reason they acknowledged the protests was to make fun of Fox and disregarded who the protesters were.
As for the Tea Parties.. join one and you’ll quickly find out the truth about them and that it was first started by a woman in Seattle and spread from there.
This is the last time I will answer your charges. Do your homework.

Unfortunately Obama has some extremely important matters that cannot be postponed for any reason to discuss with whoever is in control of Iran right now.

While MSNBC did have a grand ole time with their ideological rival (who is at this moment trying to create a conspiracy theory between MSNBC, GE & Cap & Trade), most of the rest of the media reported it fairly straight forward.
“As for the Tea Parties.. join one and you’ll quickly find out the truth about them and that it was first started by a woman in Seattle and spread from there.”
Yes simply go to FoxNews and I am sure they will direct you to the appropriate Tea Party (FoxNews trademark pending)

Noci-A As you may or may not be able to tell from these posts, we are having our own revolution of sorts against the prevailing order in the interest of securing our freedoms and liberties. It is a non-ending struggle and always changing. There are many who side with the government and many who oppose it. What is intolerable in Iran is the notion that civilians, ‘volunteers’, have a license granted or quasi-endorsed by the highest authority of Iran to go out and execute their fellows. Citizens at liberty who go out and beat, or God forbid, kill their fellows are criminals by any stretch of the imagination. Outrage at the endorsement of this kind of arrangement in Iran is only just beginning to arise.

so left winger, how does it feel knowing that Obama’s approval rating is going down and that independents are leaving him in droves? Obama is a fraud, just like all left wingers.
the April Tea party was a huge success and Fox jumped on it and look at their ratings! while Obama and the MSM rating goes down, Fox news and conservatives are on the rise. People wanted change, but not the Obama policies.
meanwhile, on July 4th those who love America will be celebrating the true meaning of freedom.

“so left winger, how does it feel knowing that Obama’s approval rating is going down”
Hate to break it to you but Obama’s job approval ratings has been very steady for 3 months now.
“the April Tea party was a huge success and Fox jumped on it and look at their ratings”
Non stop promotion by FoxNews (highest rated cable news station)and the talk radio frothers (Rush supposedly has 20M listeners) and appearances by famous and popular FoxNews personalities got them their largest crowd of 20,000 in Atlanta.
“on July 4th those who love America will be celebrating the true meaning of freedom.”
By going to corporate sponsored event decrying the historic low tax rates we are paying.
Give me Hannity or Give me Death!

It is actually surprising President Obama’s ratings haven’t gone down more.
Given the ‘honeymoon’ phenomenon, it seems only natural his ratings would go down at some point.
That the ‘right wing’ posters on here are perched and drooling over declaring this a huge victory says more about their desperate state than anything else.

people, civililty, please! the vitriol gets in the way of facts, it seems. boy, having been a part of the early tea parties in seattle and bellingham, wa before anyone was talking about it, i bristle at the “interpretive reality” (read: spin) that the movement is some sort of astroturf/fox news corporate boondoggle. disagree, if you will, with the tea parties, but you’ll have to keep pushing back constantly and loudly to prove that these are gop big company events. and even then your voice will tire.
i would add: for 8 years many conservatives sat back and watched as code pink acorn and whoever marched in the streets against bush, the war and whatever else. that is their right and that was fine. so please, grant me the same right to do so without smearing me, please. and if you do smear me, this great country will still allow you to live in peace. what a great country.

ACORN, Code Pink and any anti-war protesters were smeared repeatedly by not just conservative posters but the right wing media as a whole.
Bascially you hypocrites are asking to be treated far better than you treated others.
