<description>This is a true family values man, the GOP only uses this at election time and once elected throws that statement out the window.

<description>First and foremost I do NOT condone this behavior. Having said that, in my decades of work I have known of many people’s indiscretions, none were fired or asked to resign because of them. As long as their work was good their private lives had no bearing.
Why should private lives have a bearing on public office? They are all corrupt anyway so why should this type of problem be any different?
To work at the White House you must pass a very tight security check. No one in congress has to pass one like that, not even the Presidents White House staff. (The last questions they ask you while strapped to a lie detector with armed agents in the room is; “Have you ever committed a crime for which you have not been caught?”)
Even this does not cover cheating, so if they could not pass this test why persecute them for cheating?
If we can hold our representatives to a generally higher standard then we can include marital indiscretions, otherwise it is a waste of effort.

<description>Can any of you understand what I just did because I have to get a haircut and you need me to interpret the news for the national security of the World. How safe are you all feeling right now?
