Palin Sees “A Lot” of Disagreement in GOP

ABC News' David Chalian Reports:
Former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin does not believe her popularity and fundraising prowess somehow anoints her as the leading figure representing the future of the GOP."Absolutely not necessarily," Palin told NBC's Matt Lauer on "Today."Palin still sees a Republican Party that is not yet singing from the same song sheet.  "So, no, not necessarily me.  I don't think I need any kind of title in order to effect change.  I think there's a lot of disagreement within the party right now, though," she said.Lauer asked Palin if she should get the right of first refusal at leading the party forward."Oh, heck no.  No.  Nobody's entitled to that right of approval.  There's no entitlement that's accepted, I believe, in our party and that's another nice thing about the principles of the GOP," Palin said."You have to walk the walk and not just talk the talk.  Your actions have to speak louder than words.  Your accomplishments have to speak for what it is that you stand for and no, nobody's entitled to any kind of front-running position in the GOP."

Popular? I’d say Palin is incredibly polarizing, both inside the GOP and with the general public.

Yep, lots of republicans are against killing people in foreign lands and against spending to much money. Ron Paul….

At present, there is a gubernatorial election coming up and ABCNews as well as David Chalian certainly don’t want to see the Republicans win any governorships so they HAVE to see to it that the public believes the Republicans are divided.

I watched the entire Lauer / Palin interview and I never heard Gov. Palin make the statement about the Republican party that you attribute to her. Perhaps, you need to go back and watch the interview yourself instead of putting words in Gov. Palin’s mouth just to fill up your column for the day.

Sarah Palin is a legion in her own mind and a few of her right-wing worshipers. They are the same ones who hang on Rush Limbaugh and Chaney’s every word and obsess about Teleprompters and birth certificates. Sarah will never get any further then Alaska unless she decides to star in a reality TV show.

Who watches Matt Lauer anyways. I love her and people love her because the media hates her. Especially ABC, NBC MSNBC they have poor ratings and make up all their interviews. Their president is a 1 term thing anyways. They probably will be out of the news business by then too.

Dearest wish of liberals–that the popular SP will go away–not in your wildest dreams, lefties–our country needs her–no one else has the guts to speak up against comrade Obama.

Vote Palin-Romney 2012 for their rightwing conservatisim.
In 2012 we must vote for Governor Sarah Palin to become our President and Governor Mitt Romney to become our Vice President starting on January 20, 2013 , because of Governor Sarah Palin’s and Governor Mitt Romney’s superior right wing conservative philosophy. Governor Sarah Palin’s and Governor Mitt Romney’s superior right wing philosophy is shown in that they are pro God and Christianity, pro life, pro marriage; pro guns-second amendment, pro low taxes, pro low government spending; pro small government, pro unintrusive government, pro traditional and Judeo Christian values; pro Bible reading and prayer in our public schools, pro Christians schools and private education , pro private and free enterprise; pro military spending, anti arms agreements with Russia, pro creation; pro nuclear, pro conservative supreme court judges, pro American sovereignty; pro capitalism, anti communist, anti socialist; conservative on immigration, and pro constitution.
