I quit smoking just two weeks ago. I had to because I had a severe case of bronchitis. I’m better now and still have not touched a single cigarette. I now consider myself a non-smoker. But if I were to have just ONE cigarette, I would consider myself a smoker again. There is no halfway, 99% or anything like that, either cigarettes are part of your lifestyle or they are not. One cigarette a day or a pack a day, you are still a smoker. It’s an addiction, I know, and when you quit it’s either all or nothing. And just like in AA, you have to “stay quit”, one day at a time. It’s the only way to get through it. This also speaks to Obama’s will power and self-control.

It is NOT ok for the President to smoke. He is our leader and should do so by setting examples. Smoking contributes to MANY health conditions and in a country whose healthcare industry is crumbling… lets be honest, another chronic illness due to smoking is the last thing we need to pay for.
I understand smoking is addictive but when you lose your job because you can’t stop smoking, you seriously need to re-evalute your priorities.

Smoking is one of the hardest addictions to kick. My wife worked 19 years for a hotel that added a policy after 19 years that if you smoke cigarettes you are fired. And yes she was what I don’t understand is she was hired as a smoker and never even took cigarettes to work with her only smoked at home. Tested her for nicotine and failed.I am not a smoker but think a person has the right to smoke a legal substance as long as it does not offend a non smokers space.

IF YOU PAY ATTENTION HE GETS SLAMMED STATING FACTS AND AGREEING WITH SOME IDEAS OF GEORGE BUSH BUT, THEY DON’T REALIZE THEY ARE ACTUALLY CALLING THEIR FORMER HERO ( BUSH ) AN IDIOT THEY JUST AUTOMATICALLY DISAGREE BECAUSE IT’S COMING OUT OF OBAMA’S MOUTH ESPECIALLY PAY ATTENTION TO S. Saying Obama is 95% cured is like saying that she is 95% sure she is not pregnant.
Why cant you media people just answer the question. Yes Obama smokes. end of story but you have to make him out to be something more then he is. He is a smoker, no political distinction just honesty for a change!
YES OBAMA SMOKES………….HOW HARD IS THAT!!!!
