George, thanks for telling us about David.
We need more go and getter guys who will deliver.President Obama is an example of this, and despite criticism to the contrary,he has implemented many new changes to spur our still pummeled economy. I hope Washington pays more attention to the crumbling of of our American venerable institutions: The USPS.
BTW, I follow you on Twitter

George,
What’s the real story behind Scarborough cancelling on you? Did David Gregory really throw a fit just because you’re catching him in the ratings?

Scarborough got his balloon popped the other morning by C. Mathews.Joe has become a mini Rush lately, I think because of his latest book. His show side kicks are pretty intelligent but cannot come out of they’er shells very long without being attacked. He’s afraid of L. Odonnel.Fellow Democrats. Take off the gloves and fight back!Hell, forget the North Koreans, the Taliban, and Ahamadinejad. They wouldn’t get through the WAVES of attacking republicans to do any damage! My President can win any fight because… he’s wirey but several million of us have his back.

YOUR QUESTION 4 AXELROD: I understand that House Committee Chairs who want to preserve their prerogatives to set Medicare payment have slammed the door shut on President’ Obama’s support for Sen. Rockefeller’s proposal to allow MedPAC to set those rates administratively.
Will Obama let this defiance continue as the bill moves through the House, or allow it to stop the inclusion of this vital piece of the Obama plan in a final bill?

For those who question the ” will I have to change my doctor” scenerio in the new Obama plan, any employer provided health plan makes that decision for you on a yearly basis. I know, I have to make that decision for our plan. The criteria is purely financial. If the plan is too expensive to continue, we change it. Consequence, You may have to change your doctor. SO ultimately the employer is making the decision. Most plans now run from $800 to $1500 per month. A gov’t sponsored plan may help keep our company afloat.

I love George, his show and guests – - every Sunday morning I watch…always interesting. I am 56 years old, grew up with Michael Jackson. Yes he was a genius, creative, different, and made great music and terrific dance; but when George asked, “Are we making too much out of this?”…
Well George, here is how I see it, we get inundated for weeks there might be a hurricane heading this way when it is so far out at sea no one knows where it will go…
I loved Tim Russett and Meet the Press also, and when he passed…the weeks of showing his life was appreciated….
There is a SC governor on the news for the last two weeks about an affair, etc and I never knew he existed until about the last year…
I have been watching Farah Fawcett in the news for about two – three weeks, and yes I did grow up with her also…
Now I have to watch ole’ VP Chaney and his smart ass ways ever since he left office and that’s been over six months of %#$@!!, where was he when we was in office…sneaky
No, three days of hearing about Michael is not too long…we will remember him far longer than any of the others mentioned above because he left music in our soul!!

Watching your show today, one thing that kept coming up that I wish someone had mentioned to the group at the roundtable segment, is:
This direction for our country, health care, economy, clean enery, should not be about political motivation, but what is right for our country, for our population and health of the environment.
I am very tired with all this political rhetoric: who will get the political power in the next election? Our country is in trouble and needs help. Our current President is actually trying to move in a direction that will get America leading the world in clean energy, health care.
We shouldn’t be concerned about bringing other countries to taks (China), but take initative to become the leaders in this area, having other countries come to us for products, jobs, materials.
I feel President Obama is working to get there. He is doing or trying to do what is needed, do it now, not just talk about it
JUST DO IT!
Peggy Noonan and Kathlene Parker are examples of that type of Republican.
Enough of them
thank you,

Hard to imagine a weekly roundtable discussion without George Will! It was Paul Krugman unleashed! He and George W often have scintillating exchanges when GW enters the economic arena. Was trying to get to the green room but when I clicked on the image it did not come through?

I find it really disheartening that these bad ‘actors’ that present themselves as stalwards of the people both republican and democrat cannot recognize that not upgrading our energy and health systems is a sure recipe to send us begging for alms to our ‘foreign masters’. I wonder how much these ‘industries’ have ‘contributed’ to the various ‘reelection campaigns’ read bank accounts of these ‘actors’. I haven’t heard of one member of Congress that hasn’t retired as a millionare. It’s doubtful that these ‘actors’ would land a role in a ‘C’ class movie.

George: Why can’t the members on your discussions ever answer your questions directly? And why don’t you ask the same question until they say they won’t answer the question directly? No wonder we’re so fed up with this b.s.

How can Liberals embrace the Obama Health Care program that has forfeited all respect for human life. Read the following quote. This is unGodly, inhumane and contradicts everything we stand for as Americans. Any American who embraces this should hang their head in shame. Here is the quote: “At the heart of President Obama’s Health Care plan is the restriction of services for older people, people 65 and older who by virtue of modern medicine may actually be ten and fifteen years younger in terms of good health than they would have been a generation ago. Alas, they still have higher health risks and costs than younger people. Thus they are going to bear the brunt of the Obama Administration’s cost cuts, for 27-30% of Medicaid spending is spent for caring for people at the end of their lives. With the government taking over more of the nation’s healthcare costs under the Obama regime, it has already been decided that government monies are more economically spent on younger people than on older people. If a 65-year-old needs a hip replacement, the government will better spend that money on a younger person whose hip will last longer. Or perhaps the government will decide the money is better spent on preventive medicine for younger people.”

I never do this; but, I just watched “This Week”; I try never to miss that show, and the other political commentaries on other networks; but: Kathleen Parker; she’s great! Have her back.
