Jun 23, 2009 4:37pm

The White House this afternoon provided written Persian and Arabic translations of President Obama’s remarks about Iran from the top of his press conference.

Officials also provided Persian subtitles for a Youtube version of his remarks.

In those remarks, the president alluded to the problems totalitarianism has in the 21st century, noting that “despite the Iranian government’s efforts to expel journalists and isolate itself, powerful images and poignant words have made their way to us through cell phones and computers.”
