Bush-Era Torture Probe Likely

Investigations into the Bush administration's interrogation practices of detainees now seem very likely.

Back in January, President Obama told me "we need to look forward as opposed to looking backwards." 

But my sources confirm Newsweek's Daniel Klaidman's reporting that Attorney General Eric Holder is likely to launch an investigation into whether there was abuse or torture of detainee, and whether laws were broken.

However no CIA officials will be held responsible for guidance they were given by Bush officials, unless they went outside of that guidance.
