Fun With Straw Men

ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: Just in time for tonight’s presidential news conference, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office is releasing something of a viewers’ guide: “Straw Man Bingo.” Each of the 24 squares (you get the middle square automatically, like in real Bingo) represents a group of people whom President Obama has, at some point, blamed for delaying the progress of health care reform. Republicans claim that the groups are little more than straw men, as Democrats continue to fight with themselves over the shape of legislation. They include “naysayers”; “special interests”; “lobbyists”; “cynics”; “voices saying”; and, of course, “those on the other side.” Check out the release from McConnell’s office HERE. And for a look at what to expect from the president’s press conference tonight, I previewed the primetime event this afternoon with Charlie Gibson, on the “World News Webcast.”

What a perfectly dumb solution from the “Party of No.”

Why must Republicans resort to such childishness? Do they really think antics such as these are a way to bring voters back to their party?

Ahh yes.
1- Iraq
2- Afghanistan
3- Health Care
4- Economy
5- Gun Control
6- Education
7- Environment
Lots of big issues to deal with. Republicans offer BINGO cards as a response. Gee…what a great strategy to win true thinkers…FOR THE DEMOCRATS!
Keep sayin’ NO guys.
Will we vote for Republicans…the answer of course is NOOOO!

I think this is hilarious! Typical of the liberal left that they see no humor in this. The part I see no humor in is the bankrupting of our country and the socialism being foisted on us. But, time will tell. I just hope that the new Congress in 2010 can fix it.
