Wow–two comments already condemning Obama. Let’s see…if you assume they did knowingly lie about his burial plot instead of making a simple mistake, let’s compare lies: burial plot with no victims vs. war in Iraq with 100,000 victims. Yup, I’d say we’re quite a bit better off with this type of misinformation than the previous administration’s.

My, but the conservatives are cranky today, and yes, this liberal has a job, thanks for your concern.

This is deceit at the very highest levels of government. If they are covering this up, WHAT ELSE ARE THEY COVERING UP? Maybe they moved the body? Maybe it’s not even there anymore. What happened to the body?
Sounds like the CIA is in on this. Probably has to do with the Kennedy/911 cover-up.
I think I saw the words – “Obama is My Messenger” in the smoke from the 911 fire.

OBMN, I often appreciate your comments, but this one seemed unnecessary to me. I am sure that once the story broke about the terrible terrible desecration at that Chicago cemetery, which as I understand it is a predominately black cemetery and in the bad old days was THE only cemetery where blacks could be interred in Chicago, that someone from the press asked the White House about whether anyone connected to the First Family was buried there. There have been other stories about whether Emmett Till was buried there and some other well-known black Chicagoan.
So it is a natural question to ask and the WH is simply corrected the initial misstatement they apparently made that said that Michelle had a relative in that cemetery. Not a big deal. I’m relieved that the Robinsons do not have to deal with the heartache of thinking the body of a beloved relative might have been mistreated and my heart goes out to the families who ARE affected by this cruel crime.

He isn’t expected to have it cleaned up yet, but he’s expected to implement policies that move the economy in the right direction. So far, he hasn’t done that.
Deregulation caused this problem, but Obama won’t regulate the financial industry. He’s letting them do whatever they want–with our tax dollars.
Economists are saying that this will be a jobless recovery. So Wall St will get its money back but Americans will still be out of work.

I was told there would be a day of reconing for all the misdeeds and greed that brought our great nation to it’s knees. USA – too big to fail? Not Sustainable? The core issue has not been dealt with causing more foreclosures, more economical strife, more layoffs and the cycle continues. So I say if the actual issues that caused the Oct 2008 Stock Market Crash are not our primary objective. Dealing with turning that around – whatever means necessary. Then all these issues that I feel are smoke screens, do not even matter. Keep the focus on the real issues. Stay the course. Don’t loose your direction. 1) deal with the necessary issue – economic recovery. 2) a day of reconing. Who was actively, knowingly involved at what level & what do we do about it? Judicial Department.
