Does Obama’s Bowling Score Improve with Age?

ABC News' Matthew Larotonda and Sunlen Miller report: President Obama turns 48 years old on Tuesday, and although Press Secretary Robert Gibbs would not give details on any plans for the event, he did suggest the First Family may have had some early celebrations at Camp David last weekend. “I know the president spent a little time with some friends over the weekend at Camp David," said Gibbs, "playing basketball and having dinner and bowling.” Secretary Gibbs reports Mr. Obama bowled a 144 with three strikes and a nine in the last four throws. “I told the president, ‘Look, if you'd have done this in Pennsylvania, my life would have been a little easier last spring,’” Gibbs joked of Obama’s bowling game in the lead up to the Pennsylvania primary. Then-Senator Obama’s score last April, a whopping 37, provided teasing for a candidate trying to project the common-man image. Bowling has been somewhat of a thorn in the side of the President since taking office as well. Joking about his now famous bad bowl, he said it was “like watching the Special Olympics” during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” The President since apologized for his remarks. As the President prepares to turn the big 4-8 tomorrow, a little bowling is not on the agenda as of now. The President will meet with Senate Democrats for lunch, among other events at the White House yet to be released. – Matthew Larotonda and Sunlen Miller

Happy B’day Mr President. Keep your eyes on the ball, ignore the detractors who are rooting for the country to fail.

So Gibbs said he didn’t watch Turbo Tax Timmy on Sunday but he does know intricate details of Obama’s bowling efforts.
What could go wrong?

It is funny how he can say such mean things about the handicap and nobody thinks a thing about it. But a cop arrests a black man in America and the whole nation gets bent out of shape. I guess we know where Barry stands.

Oh brother…yet another who cares fluff propaganda story for Obama. Hey isn’t there more important things to report? Hmm? Practice of course improves bowling scores……everyone seems to forget that Obama while campaigning tried to pretend he was normal joe and tried to use bowling as a way to bond (fake us out.) He didn’t bowl at the time, and tossed a gutter ball despite his pretentions–so he has been practicing to again make another run at pretending? And we are supposed to be impressed and suckered? Please…stop with this nonsense.

Nowhere to go but up from 37. Too bad as his bowling average goes up, his popularity goes down.

“Why is it so hard for the media to accept that Obama can not tell the truth.”
There. Fixed it for you.

Bowling score up, polling numbers down. I’m quite happy with that. What a loser! The American people are realizing they’ve been sold a dud.

Remember Scooter Libby? Chief of Staff in Vice-President Cheney’s office? Currently serving jail time as a criminal for obstruction of justice, perjury, and making false statements to federal investigators.
The people of the United States have not forgotten the criminals at the highest level of the Republican administration.
And they know perfectly well the vast improvement of the Obama administration.

Danita,
Scooter Libby isn’t in jail. His sentence was commuted. Take your Obama blinders off and try to keep up.

Remember the failed low income housing in Chicago that Obama was partly responsible for?
Remember Tony Rezko ties with Obama and Michelle?
Remember MMichelle bringing in over $300,000 and “patient dumping” in Chicago?
Remember the whole Blogo scandall-and yes, most intelligent people know full well Obama had his hand in that mess?
Remember Tom Daschel and his crooked scandalls that forced him to step down after Obama appointed him?
Remember Bill Richardson and his scandalls that forced him to not accept the appointment Obama gave him?
Remember Timothy Geitner and his awesome ability to do his own taxes or his ties to the wall street fiasco?
Remember Chris Dodd and his AIG scandalls or his sweetheart deals with Countrywide?
Remember Barney Frank and his dealing with Fannie and Freddie along with his lover as an exec?
Remember Murtha and his ongoing investigation to defense spending scandalls?
Remember Joe Biden and his recent law suits, one to which is still pending against him and his boys?
Remember Simms, the head of HUD who has been part of several legal suits in Washington to which he lost for his crooked dealings?
And of course, how can we forget the Racist DEaling of Jeremiah Wright and the homegrown terrorist Bill Ayers??
Come on Danita, this has all just taken place in the last 6-9 months…do you really want to compare, because I have obviously not names all crooks in his current cabinet, those who have had to step down or those whom he has or is currently associated with?

LOL…sorry….still laughing at the ‘vast improvement of the Obama Amdinistration” comment from Danita……..
Vivek Kundra, White House Chief Information Officer. On leave after FBI raided his office and arrested two people.
Charles Freeman, National Intelligence Council Chairman. Withdrew after his anti-semitic, pro-arab views were revealed.
Charles Rangle and his tax evasion from rental property in the Caribean and in NY, but he wants to increase our taxes while he cannot even pay his?
Ron Kirk, nominated as U.S. Trade Representative in the Obama administration, owes an estimated $10,000 in back taxes from earlier in the decade.
Nancy Killefer (Chief Performance Officer – whatever that is) bowed out.
Yoooo hoooooo Danita?!?!? What you like for me to keep going on OBama and his crook filled administration????

Regarding Scooter Libby – we are talking about a convicted CRIMINAL, found guilty of committing crimes while working as Chief of Staff in the second highest office in the land – the office of Republican Vice-President Cheney. We’re not talking about rumours or unproven allegations or hints of controversies – we’re talking about a Republican in Cheney’s office committing jail-able crimes within their government position.
It’s astounding Republicans can’t see the difference.
And yes, while Libby was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison, a fine of $250,000, and two years of supervised release – good old President Bush commuted his jail sentence.
So there’s Bush’s integrity for you. He takes a man from high up in his administration convicted of obstruction of justice, perjury and making false statements to federal investigators – and lets him go free from a 30-month sentence.
Many people are still waiting to see what happens with Gonzales, Cheney, Rove and perhaps even Bush himself.
Most sensible Americans are thankful the Republicans are out of office.

Asked about raising taxes on the middle class on Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” White House economist Larry Summers wouldn’t repeat Mr. Obama’s pre-election promise. “It is never a good idea to absolutely rule things out no matter what,” Mr. Summers said—except, apparently, when his boss is running for office. Meanwhile, on ABC’s “This Week,” Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner also slid around Mr. Obama’s vow and said, “We have to bring these deficits down very dramatically. And that’s going to require some very hard choices.”
These aren’t even nondenial denials. The Obama advisers are laying the groundwork for taxing the middle class while claiming the deficit made them do it.
The liberal establishment is even further along in finally admitting that Mr. Obama wasn’t, er, telling the truth. A piece in the New York Times over the weekend declared in a headline that “the Rich Can’t Pay for Everything, Analysts Say.” And it quoted Leonard Burman, a veteran of the Clinton Treasury who now runs the Brookings Tax Policy Center, as saying that “This idea that everything new that government provides ought to be paid for by the top 5%, that’s a basically unstable way of governing.” They’re right, but where were they during the campaign?
In an editorial on February 26, “The 2% Illusion,” we wrote that the feds could take 100% of the taxable income of everyone in America earning more than $500,000 and still have raised only $1.3 trillion even in the boom year of 2006. The rich are fewer and less rich now, while the Obama budget is nearly $4 trillion.
Democrats already plan to repeal the Bush tax cuts, but that won’t raise enough money. So they’re proposing an income tax surcharge on “the wealthy,” but that won’t raise enough either. Democrats have no choice but to soak the middle class because only they have enough money to finance the LIBERAL DREAM OF YOKING THE MIDDLE CLASS TO CRADLE-TO-GRAVE GOVERNMENT ENTITLEMENTS.

Senator Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) lashed out Friday at the ads being run, by liberal groups, against his position on health care reform in his home state, saying they would backfire — and might even derail the entire reform process.
In a statement issued late in the afternoon by Nelson’s office, spokesman Jake Thompson warned that if the new series of ads calling out the Senator’s “stalling” on reform were “an indication of the politics going into August, then health care reform may be dead by the end of August.”
“Nebraskans don’t need outside special interest groups telling them what to think. Senator Nelson has nothing but praise for Nebraska groups working toward health care reform. Unfortunately, he says, these outside groups undermine the sincere and dedicated efforts of people in our state,” Thompson wrote. “Recently, similar ads have run in Nebraska. Those ads by other special interests prompted hundreds of Nebraskans to call our offices, with 9 to 1 urging Senator Nelson to do exactly the opposite of what the special interest group wanted. In short, the ads backfired.”
The response to Nelson from the Left was sadly predictable. The Washington Monthly’s Steve Benen called his statement “petty.” At the misnamed Moderate Voice, Kathy Kattenburg calls Nelson “awfully touchy.” OpenLeft’s Paul Rosenberg goes straight to profanity.
