Hillary Busts a Move, Part Deux

ABC News' Kirit Radia reports: Once you start dancing, it's hard to stop.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton got her groove on for the second time this week during a seven-country-in-11-day swing through Africa.

Clinton was greeted today at South Africa's Victoria Mxenge Housing Project in Cape Town, South Africa by marching bands, singing choirs, and cheering people. The complex was named after a famous anti-apartheid activist who was slain in 1985.

The fanfare was enough to make America's top diplomat dance. Then again, as we saw earlier this week in Nairobi, Kenya it clearly doesn't take much for Clinton to get funky.

This is Clinton's third visit to the complex. This time she helped clear rubble, plant flowers and mingled with residents.

"I first went to one of your sister communities back in 1997, and I saw the hard work that was building the houses and giving people a better life," she said. "I came back the next year in 1998 with my husband, former President Bill Clinton, and we saw even more progress. And then we saw the house that we helped to build in Victoria Mxenge, and so we wanted to come and see a new community. So we came here to sightsee, and we are so proud to see [the houses] that are being built — because these are houses that will give shelter and happiness to the families in them and the women and the men who built them. And so I am very proud to see the progress that you have made and to know that because of your efforts and this model, there are 50,000 houses built like this across South Africa. So I want to applaud all of you."

Earlier in the day, she met with South African President Jacob Zuma. She met later with former President F.W. de Klerk who oversaw the end of the country's apartheid era.

Who cares about this? Would much rather see a debate over the truly irrational language used by Sarah Palin in condemning Obama’s health care agenda.

Actually I want to see a SNL skit of Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi debating Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann over health care. Or, perhaps, a skit depicting a contest between Palin and Bachmann over who can create the nuttiest, most misleading word salad about health care reform. (Scary!! lol)

Hillary truly is a useless buffoon. What has she done for the USA lately? South Africa? Puh-leeze! How does this help the USA at all?

Let’s see…isn’t a Secretary of State supposed to work with ALL nations? Isn’t it important for our country to have good relations with as many other countries as possible, as well as work out problems? Encouraging stable democracies on a continent that needs a lot more of them? Isn’t THAT HER JOB?

Jake, what a stupid misleading headline. The info about where and who and what she was visiting,,,ok, the “getting her groove on” sounds like it came from Fox News and isn’t wanted, isn’t helpful, and is just childish and vindictive. We deserve better reporting and you who have access to our government officials do us all a disservice by filing such a silly juvenile story on your blog. Shame on you and grow up the majority of the public has, and we want NEWS not some 5th grade personal comment posing as news.

I wish Hilary was our president right now. It’s a shame.

OK so she blew it in North Korea so they sent her to South Africa instead I get it. Shouldnt we be more worried about countries like Mexico, Canada, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan. Cementing relations with our allies like the U.K. France Spain Portugal China Japan Turkey etc? Discussing things with Russia, Venezuela, Honduras (the troubled parts of the world). I say again what the heck good is South Africa going to do the USA? Places like Kenya only beg us for money and we get what in return exactly?

Like I said yeah great lets worry about South Africa some more while millions in the USA are homeless, unemployed, starving, being swindled by the government and private business at the same time i.e. cash for clunkers, this sham of a healthcare bill, bailing out big business etc. Isn’t politics great? Forget about that stuff. Lets just make sure South Africa is doing ok. Why not talk other countries into helping US out of OUR mess in the USA how about that Mrs. Clinton? Did it ever cross anyones mind?

I love Michelle and Hillary. But I have heard that conservatives tend to be afraid of smart women. LOL.
KMDay, I’m kidding cuz of a brief exchange we had previously. Sorry!! It’s a joke. I do like Michelle and Hillary but the other is a joke.
Just kidding.
