What people are seeing from many of their Reps is an arrogance of power we have never seen before. The refusal of leaders to recognize a grassroot movement in this country never seen before exacerbates the situation. We continue to see Dems, arrogant, deaf, and ramming a health care bill down the throats of Americans, I predict to you the price at the ballot box will be high with a turnout of voters the likes of which this country has never seen.

No…let him know that the charade is over and that, only the foolish, are still being fooled. Hang on America the next few years are going to be a bumpy ride.

The people are starting to wake up and realize he is a Marxist and attacks anyome with wealth to set up a straw man. Class envy is a powerful tool. It is very appealing to certain types when the leaders say “It’s not your fault you’re a failure, that rich guy did it” It is very sad indeed.

Just wondering how can a sane person believe that Republicans are blocking health-care reform when Democrats have:
- the President
- Solid majority in the House
- Filibuster-proof majority in the Senate

Obama on the other hand has taken more vacation time this year than I have in the past two. He is vacationing in luxury on Martha’s Vineyard while the rest of us worry if we can keep our jobs or find new ones in order to pay the basics. He has alienated half the country with his far left policies and he has encouraged our enemies abroad with his conciliatory blame America speeches. It is going to be the 1970′s all over again. Even Carter took longer to lose the American public than Obama has.

He is not a “post-partisan” President, he is simply another hard Leftist political hack who strongarms anyone who disagrees with his government-controlled answer to every problem just like the Chicago Machine product he is. No wonder Hugo Chavez loves him – Hugo sees himself when he looks at Obama. I think people are disillusioned with the lies, duplicity, and arrogance of the Obama White House. The bogus attempt to rush through half-baked attempts for the government to control one-fifth of the US economy without plans that are thoroughly evaluated and digested, and without having a consensus for it. In fact, the consensus is against this ramshackle rush-it-through-without-full-consideration style of Obama.

Confidence boost? Did we elect a president or a man-child. And where was this compassion with anything president Bush did.

The way Obama has handled the opposition to government run healthcare shows his true colors. When the public turned on him, he called them names. When the voices continued he flip-flopped on the public option. When that upset the left he flopped back. Now he is taking his message to clergy? What is next?

In fifty years when the history of this one term president is written…historians will discover that he was the recepient of affirmative action throughout his university and political careers.

If Pres Obama could point to even one example of a government run program that lead to savings and improved quality, he would be more credible. Rather, we know that Social Security and Medicare are on the brink, that VA hospitals provide lower quality health care than private hospitals…even the simple “Cash for Clunkers” program was screwed up. This is what scares us.

Here we have what the press touted as a very smart man. The way he has handled EVERYTHING since his election makes him appear downright slow. He can’t even remember the last lie he just told.

In their hearts, the Dems know that fully implemented health care will be, at the very least, a financial disaster. When even the BHO supporters find out that their health care choices have been reduced, they will be unhappy.
The Dems are counting on the weak kneed GOP moderates like Snowe and Collins to support the bill so that they can claim it is bipartisan. Then when the *** hits the fan, the Dems can blame the GOP supporters for the problems.

Should anyone be surprised by all this? Here’s a man with practically no experience in national politics (he was out stumping for President for most of his senatorial career), he had the most liberal voting record in the Senate when he did vote and began early on bullying and blaming others for any problems he faced. Frankly, his tactics are very similar to those used in Chicago where the art of politics has been reduced to power and persuasion through intimidation. The only people who want this healthcare bill are the obvious block of people who believe in entitlements direct from the government teat.

You cannot answer any questions about the plan in any detail that we can understand and you continue to spout rhetoric – “more care, more people, lower costs” – but you cannot explain how. And all we can turn to to see examples of how things might turn out are medicare and medicaid which have been vastly over their original estimates and are part of the problems that you purport to want to fix. And we, the people in the middle politically, don’t see how this is better than what we have now.

I was laid off before President Obama was in office. I had to get my own health insurance. At first these companies would not insure me at all, then they don’t want to insure me for preexisting condition. Now I get more offers to insure me. With the pushing of the health care plan, insurance companies start offering more.

It also depends on which polls you look at because there are two polls that have caught my eye: (Source: .AmericanParchment) 1) Gallup – 70% of American’s don’t believe Obama will keep his Health Care Promises. So obviously they don’t believe he is trustworthy from the beginning. 2) Rasmussen – More Americans fear the government more than they fear their health insurance providers. I think these are more true being none media based polls.

What the administration does not “get” and what I fear still some of the smartest political analysts just don’t understand is this: for months he has been “selling” a non existent thing. Putting out sample language and “drafts” and trial balloons has been a disaster. Americans are simply not willing to buy anything this important on the basis of “theory” when all we can see are ever changing outlines with vague dodgy legalese language and references to other parts of some draft bill. And then there are all the “maybes”: One day they say, “oh, don’t worry that’s out now”, or, “don’t worry, we’ll add that in later”. And still no clue on how to pay for it.
Bottom line–there is still no healthcare bill that can be read and reviewed and trusted by the people. The president tells his supporters one thing, a town hall group another thing, a reporter another thing. He promises this, and promises he won’t do that. Not good enough, anymore. We want to SEE it, not be fed his Cliff’s notes version of it.
Furthermore, we want it simple enough and short enough that we know our senators and congressmen can read it and understand it–and that it won’t be changed at the last minute in the dark of night. People, including those who enthusiastically voted for him just don’t trust him or trust congress enough to take it all on faith. The blame game is old and destructive. The stakes are too high. Any failures on 2009 healthcare reform rest solely in the west wing of the White House.

All the politically correct insistence that he is ‘clever’ – even O’Reilly say he is – but one suspects his academic record stinks (that why he does not release it). True it is not the final arbiter of intelligence, but it is often a good guideline.

The last time I got involved in politics was back in 1994, a President and Congress that followed their own agenda and did not listen to the people. We wanted the bi-partisan non-political Bill Clinton that ran for president – not the partisan bickering that we got instead. This SURE DOES seem a lot like 1994 = The sad thing is with the media all supporting Obama it also seem a LOT like 1984 – I now find that I watch Fox – where I never use to.

Americans are finding-out that Obama is dishonest,deceptive and deceitful.

Barry O, go ask Rahm to get out the Liberal bible and see what Saul Alinsky recommends for a situation like this.

When you look back the history of great Blacks in out sports or arts or business you find examples of people who rose to the occasion when given the chance…Jesse Owens, Jim Brown, Sidney Poitier, Charles Payne…you name the others. This guy is not making the grade. Sad for everyone who put faith in him. It’s been obvious for months now that he is in over his head, he doesn’t lead at all, he just pushes his agenda regardless of the outcome. 3 questions that need to be asked to Obama by SOMEONE in the lib media:
1) Obama says I can keep my insurance if I like it. So I ask this, when my company drops my Blue Cross insurance and tells me to go to the public plan, what are the steps I need to take to keep my Blue Cross coverage?
2) Why is there no tort reform in any of these bills?
3) Why is Congress EXEMPT from this oh-so-great public insurance option?
Give Obama some tough questions once in a while, not lob balls, and you may get more viewers and your ratings may start to come back.
I haven’t listened to ABC, NBC, or CBS news for about 5 months now because they keep on patting this guy on his back and NEVER asking the tough questions.
The only reason I read this article is because it was a link on a conservative blog I read, they were surprised that Steph would say something even remotely negative (albeit minor) about his sacred one.

Okay, sorry, I went off in a tangent. I’m afraid for this country’s future and no one in Washington cares. And the media comes out with this dribble about his confidence. How about the confidence of the Americans, the ones who are footing the bill for the rest of their lives.

After much thought, I have tried to look at the problems we face, and since the Dems are so interested in the blame game, I thought I would get my list out t here. It seems there’s enough blame to go around, and I believe there may be consensus on most of the following:
1) Obama — for being an inexperienced, child-like, socialist, arrogant, elitist community organizer propped up by the media into a job that is WAY WAY over his head. And for always, ALWAYS picking the wrong choice when a right one and a wrong one are put before him. ALWAYS. (See Honduras, healthcare, cap and tax, Gitmo, Gates-gate, Wright, Ayers, Fishy emails, Gibbs, Biden, etc.). And for taking 5 times longer to come up with a dog name than to cram a complete overhaul of 15% of our GDP, with a bill that he hasn’t read, down the throat of presumed gullible citizens. There is NO healthcare “bill” in Congress.
So anyone — including, and especially, Obama — who goes around telling people what “is in” the healthcare bill is misleading people.
There are currently THREE different bills in the House and at least TWO in the senate.
Even if each house of Congress passes SOME healthcare bill, the two houses will still have to reconcile any differences between their two versions.
In addition, there are numerous proposed amendments to each of the bills.
What we do know for sure is that there is NO single-payer proposal in ANY of the current bills — and the reason for that is that Obama and the influential members of Congress have been PAID OFF by the corporate health interests.

The problem with Obamacare is that the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, which is run by a Democrat, says the proposed healthcare overhaul will add at least another $1.5 TRILLION of debt. We are so far in the hole that the nation can’t afford it. Sensible reform should begin with allowing Americans to purchase health insurance across state lines – this is forbidden by federal law in many instances. Tort reform should also be high on the list – each doctor has to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in liability insurance to guard against frivolous lawsuits – we Americans all pay for that. Instead of the government hijacking 1/6 of the U.S. economy which makes up health care spending, begin with sensible reforms that make sense. It really is that simple.

As an independent Democrat and a student of history, I feel that President Obama reminds me more of Mussolini. Many progressives in the day lauded Mussolini and thought that we should be more like Italy, at least until he invaded Africa. I remember a saying from my youth, ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions.’ Also, many progressives were enamored with Hitler in his earlier days, especially the Kennedy family. In both situations that saying held true for both leaders. While President Obama will not meet the same fate, I do know that his best intentions will become hell for Americans if he gets his way.

President Obama is on reocrd as supporting a single-payer system, and Rep. Barney Frank and others in Congress have stated that the public option is the best way to get to single-payer. So there is no doubt in my mind that President Obama wants and seeks an eventual takeover of healthcare by the federal government.
The problem is, everything the government touches is an expensive disaster. Everything. The federal government starts by overpaying its workforce and lavishing it with expensive benefits. There is no competition to set wages and benefits at the proper levels. And we all know that once a goverment agency is created and starts to hire, the employment is guranteed irrespective of performance and the benefits are guaranteed for life. It’s no secret, therefore, why everything the government does is more expensive than the private sector.
Moreover, everything the government does with its endless supply of fungible government workers is of poor quality. Witness the cash-for-clunkers program (another disguised wealth transfer from people who pay taxes to people who drive or own older cars — typically people who earn less). The program lasted 3% of its projected duration, and has been hopelessly and incompetantly administered by the very same federal government that Obama and Frank want to run healthcare.
If the government can’t get a small program like cash-for-clunkers remotely right, how can we expect it to run a national healthcare system? How do we ask our existing complement of doctors to add 46 million people to their patient lists without rationing care?
Can any intelliggent person believe the BS that Obama is peddling?

The real problem here, George, which continues to fly right over the heads of leftists, is that Barack Obama is trying to shove an agenda down the throats of a public that wants nothing to do with it. And he’s trying to get there with lies, fraud, obfuscation and subterfuge.
He passed a massive “stimulus” bill that wasn’t a stimulus at all, but a massive dump of borrowed money on his useless, blooduscking base, and demanded that it be passed it yesterday, without reading it, or unemployment would go above 8%.
Then came the half-trillion “emergency spending” bill — trillions added to the deficit in mere months, with absolutely nothing to show for it.
Then came “crap and trade” — a massive business tax disguised as environmentalism.
Then he moves on to socialized medicine, which was initially sold on the basis of providing coverage for “47 million uninsured Americans” — a number that is itself a total lie — but then turned out it would still leave millions uninsured. Then the plan was sold as a “cost saver,” when it will actually COST hundreds of billions more. Then it was sold as a “competitor” to private plans to “keep them honest” — yes, the hapless, corrupt government is going to keep the private industry honest. Then they changed their “health care reform” label with health “insurance” reform. And on and on and on.
He’s been pushing a reckless, radical leftist agenda, all sold on the basis of lies. (“Never let a crisis go to waste.” And he hasn’t.) But the people have caught on — and THAT’S Barack Obama’s REAL problem: The people are not buying his BS anymore. No matter how the con man tries to dress it up, the people see his agenda for what it is. He doesn’t need a vacation or a break — he needs to stop forcing his perverted agenda on a country that wants nothing to do with it.

Interesting that George doesn’t address the pros and cons of the actual issue – health care/insurance “reform” – and seems only concerned with Obama’s “boost of confidence” and “post Labor Day success.”

To let you know how bad it is out here in the real world for Obama: My daughter is a teacher. Last year, when Obama was inagurated, everything stopped at her school and teachers were gleeful in anticipation of his administration. Fast forward to this week and before school staff development. The faculty was doing an exercise in developing persuasive arguments in preparation for teaching the writing of the persuasive essay. The topic of the debate was the current healthcare bill. The moderator asked everyone who was for the reform to stand on one side of the room and those opposed to stand on the other. ALL of the teachers stood on the anti-healthcare bill side leaving the pro-healthcare bill side totally empty. The moderator leaned over to my daughter and asked her if she could do her a favor and argue for the pro-healthcare side. She did it as a favor to a friend, who was the moderator. All of the teachers thought that my daughter had lost her mind and spent the rest of the day dispelling the rumor that she was absolutely nuts. Teachers are a big part of Obama’s following and it is obvious by this story that he is losing ground fast. His problem is that he is not willing to lead by example. I was not fan of Jimmy Carter, but he did walk the walk. Obama tells us to tighten our belts and then his wife is seen wearing $500.00 tennis shoes, a $6,000.00 purse and shopping and sight-seeing in Paris. He wants to impose on the American people a health plan that he himself will not use. My husband was in the military for twenty years so we know what government controlled healthcare is like. Can you say Desert Storm Syndrome? While my husband was a second lieutenant he had a paragraph on his desk that went something like this: A leader does not eat until his men are fed, sleep until his men are billeted or ask anyone of his men to preform a task that he is not willing to do himself. This is the gist of Obama’s problem. He blames everyone but himself because he knows how to campaing but does not know how to lead.

Any ABC News poll will have Obama’s approval rating atleast 10 points higher than it really is. He seems intent upon thwarting the will of the people and bankrupting the country with his health care “reform” debacle. He can’t blame the GOP, they do not have the votes to stop this train wreck. He has lost the trust of the American people.

Democrats: Please help us. Surely you see that this is a radical. The time for averting one’s eyes from the truth is over. So many of the things we enjoy in this country are rooted in the freedoms we have which he will take away. It is time to turn away from this man.

I voted for Obama. I also have enough of a brain to understand that the Dems have all the power and can pass any bill they want. The Conservative Republicans CANNOT stop it. Obama has managed to tick-off people on the left, right, and middle.
He angered the left by not fullfilling promises he made to those interest groups (thankfully) – Like card-check, closing Gitmo immediately, he didn’t prosecute Bush admin officials, and he forced unions to make concessions when bailing out GM and Chrysler.
He has angered those on the right because he sold himself to the American people as a moderate and then revealed his very liberal bent in his policies.
He has now angered the great body of moderates by his incompetent handling of the stimulus package and healthcare reform. He makes some general statements describing policies in these areas that few would disagree with. However, he outsources the details and the bill writing to the Congress and hordes of special interests. When the people actually read the bill (something the Congress and President have not done in either occaision) – they discover there is a huge difference between the rhetoric and reality. They are then angered by the reckless speed that the Admin and Congress want to ram this stuff through.
It looks disorganized and amateurish. A vacation is not going to solve the lingering sense by American citizens that a mistake was made last November.

At this point I do not know if he could even handle that Community Organizer thing again?

Obama is so far in over his head, it is not funny at all. It is more scary than anything. With absolutely no exective experience of any kind, he is running the American automobile industry, he is running the banking industry (Com’l banking, not Wall Street) and now Congress wants to give him the healthcare industry to run. Isn’t anyone concerned about this power grab? Isn’t anyone concerned about the long term impacts to the free market and America’s ability to compete in a global level. If this wasn’t really happening right before our eyes, I would never believe it to be possible if I had read in a bad novel.

I’m a voter, and I DON’T like Obama.

The only good thing about all of this is that the Democrates will be done as a majority party for about 30 years after 2010-2012. Remember that 35 % of the people will vote for Democrates no matter what and 35% will vote for Republicans no matter what it is the other 30% who will cause the Republican landslide. Can anyone other than me see what is comming – even the union members will not actually vote for the Democrates in large numbers after this health care mess – no matter what they say in public?

My 88 year old mother-in-law has watched your Sunday morning “This Week” show for years. At lunch last week she informed me that she can’t stand to watch your show anymore because it is a big cover up for the Obama Administration’s mistakes. George, you had better start looking for new guests for your panel or find yourself a new job!

I think the majority of the public does not want government run health care. The reason, we know the government can’t run things cost effectively or efficiently (ex. Post Office, Cash for Clunkers, Medicare, Social Security). So why are we still talking about the public option, it appears to me that its once again politicians putting their egos first instead of the American people. That goes for Democrats and Republicans.
So here is a clue to the Pres and everyone in Congress. First, drop your egos and seriously think of ALL the things that are driving up health care costs (medicare under payments, government mandating coverage for everything, preventive medicine by doctors, malpractice suits, etc).
Secondly, if you would look to fix just those things and bring the down the cost of health care so businesses and individuals could afford health insurance you have done something to reform/fix the system. Not create a new system but help make what we currently have better. You would have also represented about 80% of what All the American people want government to do, thats including all Democrats and Republicans.
Heres another clue, we know the public option will not do what you are advertising it to do. So you need to do something else.

It is a common misconception that Democrats got elected last time around. It is about as far from the truth as it comes. It’s the Republicans who got voted out. Mid term elections will show dramatic shift back, and will closely represent the true political landscape of this country which is center/right.
Funny thing is that Obama is hoping for Democrats to lose the House which should ease all the high expectations he is dealing with right now…and as we all know Obama has not built his career on acomplishments.
At the end Republicans’ plan to step away from the mess Bush created and transfer the ownership of it onto Democrats, plus stack the deck for their next chosen candidate (Jeb Bush) will work great.

But at least Clinton could look at the 42% approval in a different light; he was only elected with 43% of the vote, thanks to Ross Perot. Obama is a disaster.

The fix is in on Obamacare and the town halls and polls confirm it. If the Dumbs force it through then only the Dumbs and Obama can take the blame for it. The cost at the 2010 election will be very high. Many Dumbs will take the fall, and they will have Obama, Pelosi, and Reid to thank.
This may be the only way this country is saved.

Obama says “We have to do something about health care, and the other side wants to do nothing”.
There are times when doing nothing is a better option than doing “something”.
If the system is broken for 15% of the people, how come he wants to scrap the system for all 100% of the people?

No…let him know that the charade is over and that, only the foolish, are still being fooled. Hang on America the next few years are going to be a bumpy ride.

Did you all hear the Obama lie about illegals not getting on Obamacare? Only problem with that is that there is no provision in the bill for checking to see if an enrollee is legal.
That would be a lie of ommission.

The latest ratings for Fox News just came out and they surpass all of the liberal stations. To obtain factual information the public is finding that “traditional” media is at best biased and unuseful. Limbaugh, Prager, Hannity, et al provide accurate, verifiable information, not as the liberals would have it – gross generalizations (most often inaccurate to boot), nebulous ideas, and obfuscation, as well as rigid strong arming – “We WILL have health care reform whether you like it or not”. And, George, go to the Gallup site before you check your “facts” ABC – thank you for John Stossel.

He’s not just in over his head – Liberalism, Communism, and Socialism are WRONG and don’t work. Anyone who can look at all the evidence in recent world history and not understand these facts simply isn’t that smart. Dress him up in a suit, tell him what to say, and the celebrity culture and media (particularly because what he’s parroting are Liberal “truisms”) fall all over themselves.

In President Obama’s interview with Michael Smerconich, he was asked why people should have confidence that the gov can run healthcare, when they did such a poor job with the stimulus and auto bailout before GM was forced into bankruptcy.
Obama’s answer: All we did with the automakers was ask them to change their practices! Really? You didn’t give GM 60 billion dollars several months prior to them declaring bankruptcy?

Here is one more thing that bugs me with state gov as well as fed…. Tax alchol and leave cigs alone for a while. Make it equal taxation if your going to do it. It hit all levels of incomes equally. I remember when cigs were only 10.00 a carton. And I’m not that old really. I even remember when 5 dollars would fill up my VW. So here is a thought You want to work in government. Have it be a volenteer position. It seem they all have more money then they know what to do with already. Consider: Any member of the house or senate who was involved in banking regulation or deregulation, Fanny or Freddy regulation was inept and should receive a vote of no confidence. If you stood before your employer at a 4PM meeting and said the company was going to implode unless they forked out billions of $, they would escort you out the door.
Consider: Anyone who is working to implement healthcare reform at a time when there is no GDP because there are no jobs is at the least irresponsible. It does not take a rocket scientist to know one cannot add more tax deficit when there are less taxes being paid into the IRS. If you stood before your employer and asked for a new non-critical program in this economy, they would laugh you straight out the door.
Consider: Any member of house or senate who denigrates an average citizen who questions their actions, is at the least “acting stupidly”. Do you think your employer would allow you to treat customers the way your fellow citizens have been treated? What if you asked a customer what planet they were from? This is the clearest example of an out of touch, self serving government, and one who needs reminded who put them there.
Do you see what I am saying…I could go on and on…
This is not Republican or Democrat, this is common sense. They are all incompetent. It is time to clean house and start over.

I’ve just finished rereading Atlas Shrugged for the third time. The first two times (a long time ago) I applied its lessons to the collapse of the Soviet Bloc. Now Ayn Rand’s work seems more pertinent than ever due the events unfolding in my homeland.
The reason I say my homeland is because I’m an expatriate American English teacher living in South Korea. I’ve been living and working in the ROK for twelve years, but I still send in my absentee ballot for presidential elections every four years.
What I’ve been seeing taking place in the USA since January 20 is making me more upset by the day. The mounting deficits, the growing and dangerous dependence on China (many South Koreans are very jittery about China) to finance those deficits, the talk of instituting new (VAT and a big one at that) taxes to help cover those very same deficits, the bailouts of GM, and particularly Chrysler, the attempt to remove choice and private enterprise from the U.S. health care system, the stimulus that went mostly to government drones rather things that would really stimulate, and above all, the despicable behavior of the mainstream media in covering up Obama’s real Chicago background. I had to go and find the red star at the top of William Ayers website all by myself!
All these things have made me very alarmed concerning the future of my country. So I’ve reached one overriding conclusion: it’s time for Americans to revolt against royal authority for the second time in 234 years.
I say this because I don’t believe the traditional legislative process can stop my country’s slide towards the comfortable euthanasia of West European-style socialism. With the idiocy of Bush to guide them, the Republicans have done a very creditable job of taking Dirty Harry’s 357. and pointing it at least at their feet, if not their heads.
So it’s time to revolt. This will be a difficult idea for many Americans to grasp. After all, we are the product of a culture that has been based on the rule of law from its very beginnings back in medieval England.
What I’m talking about is starving the Government Beast. Come next April 15, 2010 don’t send in your tax forms. Refuse to pay! If you’re a small businessman don’t pay your state (If you live in California, New York, or New Jersey, this applies especially to you) or federal business taxes. Don’t pay your licensing fees! When the Bush tax cuts expire in 2011, don’t file! Simply don’t feed the Beast!
If you’re worried about prosecution, there’s safety in numbers. If ten million Americans refuse to pay, the looters can’t possibly oppress more than a very small number of people. If ten million small business people refuse to knuckle under to the New Jealously Class, then the Beast will be truly crippled and will be forced to beg for mercy. View your refusal to pay blackmail to the looters as a civil rights issue along the lines of what inspired Martin Luther King during the civil rights movement of the 1950s and the early 1960s. IT IS NOT YOUR PATRIOTIC DUTY TO PAY HIGHER TAXES! In fact, it can be considered a form of treason to file on April 15, 2010.
Anyway, this has happened before. What most Americans don’t remember or never learned is that in the run-up to the American Revolution the British backed down twice over the issue of taxes. Parliament repealed both the Stamp Act and the Townshend Acts in the face of fierce colonial protests. Remember, the looters don’t have the mighty Royal Navy behind them, or ranks of hard fighting British Grenadiers, all they have in their favor is the willingness to submit of a people who have been comfortable for far too long.

But he ran as a centrist much in the same vein as President Clinton (the second president Clinton, the one who scrapped HillaryCare and began to govern from the center after the GOP revolution in 94). Who knows. Maybe we will have a repeat in 2010 if the tea party movement overturns this bunch. That was a very successful and responsible era. Right now, businesses won’t hire when they believe the Dems and the president consider them to be the problem. Obama has fired CEOs from their positions, he has told investors he doesn’t stand with them, he has filled his adminstration with unaccountable czars who have been avowed communists, he is taking over private industry and putting the country into almost inconceivable debt. Yes, it was started by Bush and the GOP but this group has taken it to unbelievable heights. If you were a business owner or an investor, you would not be investing or expanding your business in this environment. If Obama and the Dems showed any support for business and investors, they would not be hiding in their bunkers now. It would have just been another recession, albeit a deep one. Free markets find balance. Investors usually place money where there is demand. They create supply to fill that demand. Not under these circumstances. Every one hides until it is safe to come out to play. They don’t spend. they don’t invest. They don’t hire. There is nothing that Obama or the Dems have said to reassure them. This seems to be a bunch determined to take over industry and demonize private enterprise. They believe they are creating social justice, just like Castro thought he was creating social justice by taking the land, businesses, and personal property of successful Cubans. All he created was a decaying nation full of 17th century peasants. That seems to be good enough to some as long as they are all equal 17th century peasants.
That isn’t good enough for most of us. We have held off socialism for hundreds of years. Time to stand up once again.

You bring up a great point about the cash for clunkers program. It did sell a lot of cars there is a lot of paperwork and many people and dealerships are waiting for the cash that was promised. I would hate for that to be the case with healthcare if someone I cared for was sick. Too much paperwork and having to wait too long. I think that maybe the politicians need to go back to the drawing board and call for tort reform rather than a government run flop.
