House Will Vote on ‘Disapproval’ of Joe Wilson Comments

Catman, can you read? Read the section in H.B. 3200 which specifically PROHIBITS any illegal alien from participation. Wilson was rude and WRONG! There is NOTHING in this proposed bill to allow anyone OTHER THAN LEGAL CITIZENS from participating. Sheesh!

Cheryl8122 – The Congressional Budget Office came to the conclusion that this is in a ” gray area” and may allow some illegal immigrants to take advantage of this. If the Pres. really doesn’t want it – then he should come out directly and say – no benefits for illegal immigrants. The fact that he wont answer directly is concerning. The Pres. has left open too much for Congress to decide on this entire bill- Many of us dont want the fate of our health and healthcare system left to the midnight govt. staffers to throw all THEY WANT into the bill at the last minute the way they did with the so called stimulus bill.

Joe Wilson is the only one in the room the other night that spoke the truth. Anyone with any common sense knows Obama intends to make all the illegal aliens American citizens. That’s how he will get around it.

Thank goodness for people like Rep. Joe Wilson; I was certainly thinking the same thing at home, but wouldn’t have the guts to say there.

I do believe that it was a rude thing to do. However, it does show how upset people are over this proposed bill. The fact is that the president has been lying about how this bill he is suggesting is going to work and who it is going to cover, not to mention how it is going to be payed for.
Also, when are you supposed to be able to confront people about these things? I thought the House was supposed to be a place where you debate things? Why go there and give a speech when you have no intention of answering any questions or allowing any negative feedback?

Whether you agree with the plan or not Barack Obama is still the PRESIDENT. The least Wilson couldve done was respect the PRESIDENT while he’s giving a speech. He is an embarrassment no only to himself, his family, and his state with their disgraced govenor, but as an “elected leader” he is a disgrace to the congress and nation and I cant wait until he’s unseated next election

And, “Death Panels” are not named in the bill, but when the government claims they will cut Medicaid costs by $500 Billion without telling us how, don’t you think it is a fair thing to question?

When are the dmocrats going to apologize for booing Bush in 2005 during speach or Harry Reid calling him a looser and liar? Also who checks to see if they are legal before offering services. Cops can’t even check when they pull them over so you think they will not be included?

The man already apologized and apparently President Obama accepted so why the drama (and it IS drama)? Are illegal immigrants/undocumented workers/whatever, currently being covered? YES. They go to the emergency room. How will that change with any healthcare system?? The reason they get covered now is because we, as a society, decided that people needing emergency care should have it no matter what. Instead of moaning and groaning that healthcare reform will give healthcare to illegals (which they have under the current system), why not go out and protest about corporations providing them jobs and drawing them to our country where they will need government assistance?

Wilson told the truth and Pelosi doesn’t want to hear it. She lied about the CIA and has yet to apologize. it is time for she and her dim-witted friends to be unelected.

I think medicare will save a heckuva lot of money, not through these ridiculous claims of death panels, but with scrutiny of the pricing system. Such as those wheel chairs that cost medicare 4 to 5 times to rent than they cost to buy outright. What about those “free” medical supplies for diabetes sent right to your door with medicare being billed? At what rate are they billed? What about the differential cost of services between the Mayo Clinic and some clinics in the south? Mayo can be half the cost of the Texas clinics…why? That is the waste that is already happening, folks!

This Behavior is very disrespectful to President Obama!! This is not the message that we want to send to our young people. That is why the world is the way it is, NO RESPECT, what a congressman….I am glad he is not from out state!!!!

I was kindof excited about Obama, at first when he ran. He was a wonderful speaker and motivator, and I wasn’t happy with Hillary or McCain. BUT then I watch and seen his record. I heard of those who surrounded him and pulled up his voting record and read about his connections. I then saw a different person. I am sick and tired of hearing people constantly play the race card. Racism sir, works both ways. The 60′s are over. I lived it, saw it and hated it! But it is over and Americans shouldn’t have to keep apologizing for the mistakes of others in the past! You have no control over what someone else does, and frankly I and others get tired of having to constantly defend the past, for which we had no part! Most of us that are against Obama are against his policies, not him as a black man. Anyone who has held a public office or even the PTA at some level knows that there is a rule book called “Roberts Rules of Order” that has guidelines of a code of conduct for behavior. i ahve many doctor clients and they think this bill is garbage. they also say that paying for by cutting waste is not true. to cut waste you have to audit doctors and hospitals which in itself creates more waste. now doctors will have to file more paper work which creates more waste. another example of, lets say,misleading words about healthcare reform.

I am one of those Americans with no voice and no job after making a good salary steadily since 1983 and I have very limited very high medical coverage. I also went through a period with no coverage. I did not understand when you were running why you asked America to help you in changing our Country. That is, until I see how divisive and corrupt the Republican Party has been. We will help you fight to help us. I have older retired family members and for the Republicans to lie and insinuate lies about killing them is beyond unethical. It should be unlawful. They had no regard for the terror and fear they instilled in our seniors. All they wanted to do was to incite a Riot against you by any means necessary. You have people like Beck, Dobbs, and Fox Media News as their cheering section and supporting the lies and the whole time inciting riots all over the United States and they had absolutely no Remorse. They had no compassion. They did not care about who would suffer the most from their lies. Instead of spending this time working on building and supporting a healthcare plan for 46 million Americans, they used the time Congress was on recess to divide America that is, until now.
Then they had an idiot representative respond stating that they want to start all over again. They do not care about America. It is clear that they do not realize that they were given these jobs, not represent Evil or instill hate through lies, but to represent the people, Main Stream America of your state. Mr. Joe Wilson of South Carolina, you do not represent the Americans of your state. You are an Embarrassment. You showed extreme immaturity. The trifling, uncaring, unethical, and ignorant way The Republicans handle themselves clearly shows they are all about political agendas rather helping hurting people who desire change. Thank you President Obama for fighting for Main Street America and we now know that you said Yes We Can, because you need our help. You are not fighting alone any longer. We will help you by voting out the Trash and voting for America. We will Help You to Help Us. YES WE CAN.

These people are not concerned about American or the American People. They are only interested in
attacking anything that Obama does, hoping that something will work. You know it is really sad that
some people would rather watch other people suffer than support someone who is fighting to make a difference and speak out for the people finally and say it is not okay to overcharge them in healthcare. It is not okay to refuse to cover their healthcare expenses because of your lies that they
had a pre-existing condition. It is not okay to refuse to treat people sub-standard or let them die because they do not have or cannot afford healthcare. It is not okay to raise their healthcare charges and copay at a whem. It is not okay that people lose homes and jobs because of outrageous and predatory healthcare charges, Those that have experienced these horrible situations, need to stand with the president and fight against these Republican conservatives who just want to defeat Obama at anything and everything without the consideration of the suffering of the American People. They cannot and will not win. Thank you President Obama and I will fight with you against injustice and the fellow man, because it is not about politics, but it is about people.

Even if you don’t respect the state you represent or the position you hold, respect the people who voted you in the position. Representative Joe Wilson, you are an embarassment. There are 46 million Americans who are waiting for help. There are millions more who are waiting for change in healthcare and Senator Kennedy died fighting for change in healthcare. It will be done and people will be helped without the Republicans.

The hospitals charge the losses for service to illegals to all the rest of us at prices much higher than the amount paid for the “insured”. And your co-pay is higher than what the hospitals actually charge the insurance company. I believe the Democrats are playing politics as usual. If Mr. Wilson, a true American, has to apologize on the floor, than shall a number of Democrats at the same time. Mr. Kerry said that our troops terrorized women and children at night. Mr. Murtha said that our troops killed in Cold Blood. Ms. Pelosi called our CIA liars. A number of Democrats called Mr. Bush a number of names and are still bashing him. I also think the lying tax cheats in the Democratic party ought to apologize too. Mr. Wilson was excercising this right to “Freedom of Speech”. Here is a phrase the left likes to use. It’s “He sins not cast the first stone”

Who does this Pelosi think she is? Wilson apologized to the person he offended. That person accepted the apology and that settles it. Where’s the outcry when the Dems heckled Bush during his SOTU address in 2005. The left is so hypocritical, it’s not funny.

At the time of the election people hailed it as a final nail in the coffin for racism. I have never seen the level of hatred in these attacks which question the very legitimacy of President Obama’s office. It makes me wonder how much of the hateful comments originate in racism. I see no need to punish Wilson for disrespecting the president. Respect is earned and so far in his 8 months as President he has not earned any. That speech was nothing but a lecture to those that disagree with his policies.

Joe Wilson had the guts to be the lone person to point out that the emperor has no clothes. For that I immediately sent him a campaign contribution.

Joe W”ilson spoke the truth and should commended; he WOULD be commended if had done that to GW Bush. The Dems need to apologize for their insulting behavior to Pres. Bush; if not, then NO apology is due to either Congress or BHO.

Wow! Rep. Wlson was rude for calling the president a liar. How about all of the name calling against Presient Bush? I believe he was a called a liar several times,specifically by Harry Reid. He wrote it in a book and said it while being interviewed. Based on the standards that I am reading here, he should be punished, receive what is coming to him, and be kicked out of office. Along that line, how about all of the name callng and the smear campaign against soldiers serving in Iraq. They have been called thugs, rapists, terrorits, and murderers. The unlikely bill that has passed is the House bill which does not prevent illegal aliens from being covered. It does pay for abortions. It does cut medicare. It does set up panels to decide who and what kind of services seniors may be eligible for at the end of their lives etc..!!!!

I vividly recall the “boos” from the left during GW’s last state of the union address. The daily, constant disparaging and derogatory comments were covered in all the mainstream media.

Rep. Wilson simply did what millions of Americans wanted to do. He knows as well as we do that twice an amendment was put forward to clearly, in plain language, state the need for citizenship verification to qualify for any new health plan and both times the Dems voted against it. As a result of Rep. Wilson’s outburst, the Dems decided this past Friday to put language in the bill that is specific to verification of citizenship. Obama had no business remarking on the issue if he didn’t know what he was talking about and if he did, then he was lying because the bill did nothing to enforce keeping illegal aliens from getting health care. The whole presentation of this bill by the Democratic party and Obama has been deceitful from the beginning. Everyone is dancing around the facts. Now as usual Rep. Wilson is being called a racist. The same old tired excuse when anything is said against Obama or his socialist plans for America. I guess it never occurred to anyone that Obama is half white or so we are told. The real crime here is that this President continues to stand before the American people almost daily telling lies. I think this is ridiculous. Our country was founded on the concept “freedom of speech”. It really upsets me that some other people (Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson)can say anything they like but one person can make one small comment that is truth based and get torn to shreds.
