White House Calls ACORN Employees’ Behavior ‘Unacceptable’

At today's White House briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, asked by ABC News about recent government actions taken against ACORN, had a forceful response.

"Obviously the conduct you see on those tapes is completely unacceptable," Gibbs said, raising the issue of videotapes posted online by BigGovernment.com and aired frequently by Fox News Channel that seem to show ACORN employees advising a faux prostitute and faux pimp on how to skirt housing and tax laws. "The administration takes accountability extremely seriously."

Gibbs said the Census Bureau decided that ACORN could not assist the group in meeting "the bureau's goal of achieving a fair and accurate count in 2010" and that some other agencies are evaluating their relationship with the group. "We constantly evaluate to ensure that any grantee is living up to what has to happen in order to fulfill that grant application."

He pointed out that "previous administrations" had awarded grants to ACORN either through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

When Gibbs mentions that “Previous Administrations had awarded grants”, is this true, or is it actually more like “previous sessions of congress?”

Seriously? ABC? Do you even remember what it is to be a journalist? Outdone by two young people. No bias, no judgements, no sides. NONE! Get with the program bfore your news anchor looks like MORE of an idiot than he already does.

How can it be ABC’s arrogant Gibson hasn’t heard about fraud in ACORN? What planet does he hide in. His bias is showing. Can’t see anything negative concerning the chosen one.

Posted by: jeanette | September 16, 2009, 2:55 pm 2:55 pm

At least Jake Tapper is mentioning ACORN’s name. Other media isn’t even covering this.
Obama’s campaign gave $ to ACORN.

Posted by: DJ | September 16, 2009, 2:56 pm 2:56 pm

ACORN has been funded during many Presidential administrations, but it takes funding from Congress to initiate those contracts. It’s the same old chant we hear all the time from this White House…Bush caused it, Bush failed to fix it, Bush did it too. No matter how we felt about him, President Bush is no longer in office and responsible for what is happening now.

Again, Charlie Gibson was heard begging….”Jake, you gotta make this go away!! Jake, my credibility??? Sarah Palin is gonna have the last laugh. I’ll wind up like Dan Rather. They’re laughing at me!!! Make them stop!!!”

thought the house and senate controlled the purse strings. There they go again blaming Bush and others. Wasn’t Obama in the senate, voting on financial matters? Oh wait, thats right, he was off campaigning.

When is ABC going to start reporting the news????
When will ABC wake up and realiaze that their lack or reporting major event, doing due diligence on an election and being so biased that I will not believe anything any of their news programs have to say is really SAD.
Why don’t we hear about the BAILOUT FAILURES!!!
Why is it that ACORN was off limits even though the organization is racked with crooks liars and thieves.
WAKE UP ABC – PRETTY SOON YOU WILL NOT BE AT LIBERTY TO COVER ANY NEWS AT ALL AT THE RATE THINGS ARE GOING

Posted by: Bernie | September 16, 2009, 3:04 pm 3:04 pm

I’m shocked that ABC news has not reported on this story. This is the organization that launched Obama’s political career, who he said would have a table at the White House…and here they are advising people how to cheat on their taxes, lie on mortgage applications, on how to set up a brothel for underage prostitutes…and yesterday, as the 4th tape showed, on how to murder your husband and get away with it…People, wake up!

Posted by: Fred | September 16, 2009, 3:05 pm 3:05 pm

Of course ACORN’s act is “unacceptable”, but isn’t that the idea? Isn’t their approach exactly what American leftist activism is known and made for, a la “Create a Godless Nation? YES! WE! CAN!” at
Sure seems like ACORN is just being what ACORN was made to be.

Posted by: Scott | September 16, 2009, 3:08 pm 3:08 pm

Okay then ABC how about investigating why John Conyers called an end to the congressional inquiry of ACORN because of “the powers to be”.
ABC WHO were “the powers to be” that were covering for ACORN and Why?

Posted by: Tobias2012 | September 16, 2009, 3:08 pm 3:08 pm

If the White House was so opposed to ACORN, then why did the White House give ACORN $5 Billion in the stimulus bill? If the Democratic Party was so opposed to ACORN, why did the Democratic Party try to include ACORN funding in the TARP bill(remember how Republicans defeated this)?

Posted by: ConstantXI | September 16, 2009, 3:10 pm 3:10 pm

How about some reporting on Obama’s links to ACORN(which are many) instead of covering for Obama and trying to make it appear(falsely) that Obama had nothing to do with ACORN?

Posted by: ConstantXI | September 16, 2009, 3:11 pm 3:11 pm

ACORN should have it’s tax exempt status removed and further investigated for criminal actions. It’s deplorable that someone that surreptitiously recorded ACORN admitting to involvement in underaged prostitutes from El Salvador led to charges against the one doing the recording not ACORN. Target ACORN not those that’re exposing ACORN’s misdeeds.

Well – Glad to see something on ABC News about this. Looks like you have been dogding this story. I can’t help but to think that once some real digging starts to occur there will be significant ties that lead to DC and embarrasment for some of our officials.

Posted by: Rodney | September 16, 2009, 3:13 pm 3:13 pm

-Why do liberals say “well Bush did it”?-
Because it is all they’ve got. Maybe if some liberals started to ask why tax cheats are working for Treasury or still in Congress, I’d show them a little respect.

ACORN says workers conduct ‘indefensible’
New statement from ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis said in a written statement that she was “ordering a halt to any new intakes into ACORN’s service programs”
So what are the ACORN supporters here going to say? Still support them now that the cheif executive says they are “indefensible”.
Can someone tell Charlie Gibson? He might want to be brought up to date.

Please ask Charlie Gibson to check out video from Jon Stewart from yesterday since no one at abc news will update Charlie…
“ACORN appears to be a corrupt organization that aids and abets criminals and gets millions of dollars in taxpayer money.”
That was Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,”
JON STEWART, HOST: “ACORN appears to be a corrupt organization that aids and abets criminals and gets millions of dollars in taxpayer money. [...]
Well, this is an impressive expose. I’d love to know the intrepid journalists who broke this story. “60 Minutes”? The AP? That guy who gets the predators?…”

Posted by: bl | September 16, 2009, 3:39 pm 3:39 pm

Wow, ABC is reporting this? What took them so long. A congressional investigation should be taking place, but instead the politicians are stalling giving ACORN time to shred evidence and hide their money.

Posted by: Toby | September 16, 2009, 3:39 pm 3:39 pm

Put Charlie Gibson on ACORN in Alaska, if they have a precinct there. That might movivate him to be an actual news reporter since he might be able to tie Palin into it.

Okay ABC start doing your own investigations!
Question being is how two young couple can upstage major orgization, when you have a staff that is suppose to be journlist instead of “Cut & Paste Reporting”
How about investigating why John Conyers called an end to the congressional inquiry of ACORN because of “the powers to be”.

Posted by: Byron | September 16, 2009, 3:42 pm 3:42 pm

ABC news what a freaking joke! Do some investigating. You are getting punked by amateurs with no money, no production, and no fancy equipment. They do have one thing you have lost and will probably never get back and that is courage and curiosity. Obama is Pres for 3 more years and you’ll have ZERO to offer anyone after that. Grow a pair!

Posted by: Seamus | September 16, 2009, 3:43 pm 3:43 pm

ACORN has proven to be a criminal organization. Regardless, I am a Republican. Not one dime of my taxpayer money should be going to a highly partisan organization used to get democrat votes and support democrat programs. Yet, they were planning on giving ACORN 8.5 billion taxpayer dollars from the stimulus.

Posted by: Toby | September 16, 2009, 3:44 pm 3:44 pm

My question is simple: Why is this story making news, NOW?? ACORN was exposed as a corrupt organization during our recent national elections. Not only were they corrupt at that time, they had a history of corruption that extended back to the time that Obama worked for them. For those of us well acquainted with Chicago politics, the only surprise is that the media didn’t pursue this instead of anointing the Obamessiah.
So, I can’t give ABC any real “street cred” for this story, since it took them over a year to notice that ACORN was dirty.

Posted by: tjp612 | September 16, 2009, 4:06 pm 4:06 pm

I quit watching ABC news years ago because of their lack of journalistic intgrity. They just like CBS and NBC are a joke for the truth. That is supposed to be the purpose of the fourth estate to keep our government honest and to uncover corruption and graft. Instead I find them totally walking hand in hand with the leftist that want to destroy this country. They will not destroy it with my comlicitness. I will not boost their ratings by watching their drivel. It is only because of the cooperation of the liberal media that obama the communist liar is even in office, had they done their job in the spring of 08 our country wouldn’t be being torn apart at the seems. Now instead of digging deeper into the truth about the rift they aere all just screaming and bringing ouot others that are screaming racism. ABC, CBS, NBC and all the liberal rags around the country need to understand it is not racism that is causing the dissent, it is not wanting to accept and live with socialism/communism while eventually losing all of our freedoms.

If you need to be reminded on what Charlie said, go to FOXNEWS, they have the audio of how Charlie Gibson dismissed the acorn story, saying he wasn’t familar with the story ! FOXnews got the mainstream news (AKA liberal news station) beat again! And now you ask R.Gibbs a question. You’re a little late Tapper. I have no respect for ABC liberal news media. if any of u would take the time and do some invesitgative reporting u would see even more abuse by ACORN. The ACORN housing website even had get out the vote for Obama right ontheir website before the election. They are receiving Federal Funds and are supposed to be a non-paritsan, non profit org. thats just for one. I could go on and on. Its not hard. Its just wether or not anyone cares.

Well, what do you know? ABC is *finally* into the ACORN story. You guys have a lot of catching up to do.
Once upon a time it was probably a proud day when a *reporter* or a *journalist* got a job at ABCNews. Wonder if you’re fielding any *crack reporters* these days? If you are, where the heck are they? Are they in the same league as Zeleny at the NYT who asked Obama what he found “enchanting” about his job?
You guys are supposed to be the FOURTH ESTATE – not shills for a duplicitous White House and their cronies in the community organizing industry.
Come on ABCNews – you should be EAGER to get with the program out of sheer professionalism. No?

I think there is enough doubt surrounding ACORN to to a full investigation and audit them and any and all organizations they hide behind.
RFK fought the corruption in big unions didn’t he?
Investigate them and audit them now. They are supposed to be helping the poor and disadvantaged after all. ACORNs actions do those persons they are trying to help NO GOOD.
THE U.S. GOVT NEEDS TO AUDIT AND INVESTIGATE THEM NOW!

It has been a year and a half of seeing ABC News and Good Morning America for what they are. I watched faithfully for 15 plus years. The change from reporting all relevant news to an obvious liberal bias and a nonreporting of significant news, has made me realize I do not wish to waste anymore time watching low quality reporting. As for the Jounalists I once admired… wow, what a disappointment… The thought that came to my mind when Charlie Gibson was to retire was “gee maybe he just can’t take being told what and how to report news…” but to my sadness, apparently Charlie Gibson is as biased a
journalist as any of these commentator cable news stations. Journalism has hit an all time low. Thank you, to the two young people for exposing ACORN for all its corruption… though many watchdogs have warned for years, while the news medias sat on their political hands and are just as much to blame as Congress for the loss of many millions of dollars of taxpayers money to a corrupt entity that blantantly sucked integrity and character out of the picture. Gee, You are who you surround yourself with.
All politicians who vote in any way to give money to Acorn after this should be hung out to dry, And as for President Obama… Just another piece of proof.

Posted by: J.A. | September 16, 2009, 5:07 pm 5:07 pm

Has anyone asked Charlie Gibson about the ACORN Doctrine?

Posted by: joedoe | September 16, 2009, 5:07 pm 5:07 pm

“Jake, when you get some free time, go to Charlie Gibson and introduce yourself and tell him what you are working on. Maybe he can get a clue before they send him out to pasture.”
Working on? What working on? He all but admits in the piece that he saw it on Fox.

Posted by: Mark | September 16, 2009, 5:08 pm 5:08 pm

Jake, one day you will go the way of Charlie as your reports have become increasingly soft. Did you ask Gibbs any piercing questions about ACORN? Gibbs’ response was not forceful, as you described. Why did you let him off so easily? Get tough, or you will be as irrelevant as Katie and Dianne.

So, the WH thinks ACORN workers actions are ‘unacceptable’? Well, isn’t that sweet? How about CRIMINAL, Mr Obama? Don’t try to shift the blame to Bush as frequently happens, but finally accept some responsibility for your friends/supporters and pull the plug on this organization. Let’s see an investigation into all areas of this organization, all the way to the top.

Some kind of journalism!
And I don’t buy it that Charlie Gibson was so clueless. Then again, maybe that’s why he’s getting bumped!

Posted by: Dawn | September 16, 2009, 5:28 pm 5:28 pm

I will make this short because I have to watch Glen Beck. I was brought up to tell the truth and this is what FOX does. When I see how much Obama lies and contradicts himself, doesn’t it bother anyone. His credibility stinks and I wouldn’t believe it if he said there is water in front of me & I was at the beach. ACORN is in bed w him (already found out)and he lies and says he doesn’t know anything. Just like when he got lying about B Ayers, Wright (No Reverend talks like he does, so I don’t believe he has credentials) & so many others. Doesn’t anyone realize that YOU ARE THE COMPANY YOU KEEP11111

This is like the worst administration ever. If they can’t blame Bush or read it off a teleprompter they are paralyzed.
Pretty much the same for ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC.

Well, unfortunately, the people that backed Obama bought what he was selling. He told them everything they wanted to hear. I even hoped the rumors were wrong. Who would want this nation to fail? I wanted to believe he would fix what is wrong with this picture. I wanted him to be the hero. We need a hero. I’m sorry to tell you all this, but Obama is no hero.

Posted by: Nonofmybiznez | September 16, 2009, 6:52 pm 6:52 pm

Once you believe in someone, you want them to be right and that’s what you believe. It takes something personal to happen to break that belief. As soon as you people start hurting, you will understand what people have been talking about. The thing is how long will it take till you are hurting?

Posted by: Nonofmybiznez | September 16, 2009, 6:54 pm 6:54 pm

Its nice to see the liberal media finally starting to report on what is really happening. They are still trying to sugar coat it and phrase things in the positive, but they are starting to feel it. Look, they bought the story too. They had huge buy in. Now they need to find a way to extricate themselves. Its a start…

What a pathetic, anemic response from the White House. Are you kidding?
And Mr. Tapper, how do you feel about your profession being OWNED by a couple of 20-year-olds who “emptied their bank accounts,” spending $3,000 to do what you “professionals” with unlimited resources refuse to do? Anyone paying attention, with half a brain, has known since months before the election that ACORN was riddled with corruption. You so-called professional journalists have no excuse for not investigating them. None. You people can’t see your own profession dying in front of your eyes. Not the MSM anymore, but the YSM–Yellow Stream Media. Nice job, champs.

Wow, ABC is finally succumbing to this huge news story now that Robert Gibbs said something? Now I know why I don’t own ABC stock. You guys aren’t serious about creating an environment to generate strong ratings. Picking and choosing your stories based on partisan beliefs is a great way to leave a gap for somebody else to steal viewership out from under you. Look at Fox news as an example. Companies like yours created them and they are crushing your advertising revenues because their playing field is entirely open with only them in it. Steal their viewers away from them by leveling the playing field and we might buy your stocks. Show us that you aren’t just another NBC, CNN or CBS and give us a reason to risk funds on your entity.

ABC News is a joke! When WLS radio’s morning show interviewed Charlie Gibson and asked about his thoughts on the Acorn scandal(s), he laughed nervously and responded to effect of…”gee, I wasn’t aware of that. I guess we’ll leave that to the cable channels.”
Well, I gues ABC News intends to leave breaking news, interested viewers, advertising dollars and ultimately shareholder value to the cable channels too.

Gee, in his “community organizer” days, Obama was an ACORN lawyer. Apparently he didn’t give them very good advice on business ethics. Seems the GOP are using that age old white southern strategy they used during the Civil Rights Movement in an attempt to discredit and destroy the movement. In those days southern whites determined to destroy any efforts for equality went about creating many strategies. The ruined many innocent people’s lives, livlihood, marriages and careers. Especially fellow whites who supported Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement. They set white clergy up to make it appear they were having affairs, married white men would be set up so as to appear just right when that camera bulb flashed a white woman jumped into his arms kissing him. Innocent married white women made to look as if they were running around with black men. They even tried to destroy dear Rosa Parks. Accusing her of sleeping with members of the naacp. They called her a wh*ore, tramp and every name they could think of then spread the rumors around like wildfire. Today’s GOP are those same yesterdays white southerns so filled with hate they’d do anything, although they considered themselves christians and still went to church every Sunday. This is the picture of America that never went away. It died down for a while, but it’s still there stronger than ever, and anything, even electing a black man to the presidency, gives it volume and an excuse to rear its ugly head once agaon.

Posted by: Entrapment | September 16, 2009, 7:55 pm 7:55 pm

“White House Calls ACORN Employees’ Behavior ‘Unacceptable’”
So Gibbs is known as the White House?

Posted by: Ed Taylor | September 16, 2009, 8:17 pm 8:17 pm

“Ryan C…I sure as heck didn’t see it ,Must have been in fine print”
Under the recent posts column directly to the left, there are 3 stories referencing ACORN.
I guess your eyesight is quite poor.

Posted by: Ryan C | September 16, 2009, 8:19 pm 8:19 pm

coolbreeze: Boy the quality of employees at ACORN is struggling. You would think with about 16 % unemployment they could get better help.

Posted by: feelingtogetherness | September 16, 2009, 8:20 pm 8:20 pm

“RyanC: What about that child prostitution thing at ACORN? WOW defending that must be hard huh? I suppose you don’t mind though beings your a Lib.”
Fictitious child prostitution?
What is there to defend?
Of course what has been interesting is that right wingers insist regular prostitution is ok.
At least when done by Sen Vitter.

Posted by: Ryan C | September 16, 2009, 8:20 pm 8:20 pm

Ryan C: I don’t care about adult prostitution. But you seem to not care about ACORN thinking it’s ok to set up a “child” prostituion house.

ABCNEWS. Okay I know that you and your cousins MSNBC and CNN want to protect what ever it is your trying to protect, but even people who voted for Obama are starting to wonder.
Come on, 3 front pages on Wilson. But nothing on Van Jones! Barely anything on Acorn until now. What is going on! No I’m not right wing. I’m an independent who likes to hear all sides.

Posted by: Anna | September 16, 2009, 8:24 pm 8:24 pm

Ryan C,
You do understand that the Acorn employees thought this was real, right?
Would you excuse the online predators Chris Hansen goes after on Dateline because they’re being “set-up”?

“So Gibbs is known as the White House?

Gibbs as Press Secretary is the White House’s spokesman.
I realize many right wingers are not that bright but really.

Posted by: Ryan C | September 16, 2009, 8:26 pm 8:26 pm

Isn’t it interesting “unacceptable”? that they did it or they got caught.

C Censorship

Posted by: kAREN | September 16, 2009, 8:28 pm 8:28 pm

Thank you Mr. Trapper for asking the question. Perhaps you can ask the Press Secretary if the White House will support (or initiate) a Justice Department investigation to look into ACORN corruption. This is only going to get worse and now is not the time for a cover-up. Corruption must get rooted out.

ABC: YOU HAVE A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY NOW TO GET THE RATINGS BACK! Many of us who have transferred our attentions (and affections) to FOX NEWS did so because we truly want “fair and balanced” coverage. GRAB HOLD OF THIS BIG CHANCE TO MAKE A COMPLETE TURNABOUT ON EVERY ISSUE. EXPOSE THE GRAFT IN WASHINGTON, D.C. Sit back & watch what it will do for you. It’s WHAT AMERICA WANTS, R E A L L Y .

I dont see how this could possibly be a partisan battle. Corruption is corruption, no matter your political leanings.

Posted by: nuts for obama | September 16, 2009, 8:30 pm 8:30 pm

“Ryan C: I don’t care about adult prostitution.”
Exactly.
Right wingers don’t care about adult prostitution engaged in by a Republican Senator but are furious about a fictitious scenario.
Hypocrisy thy name is right winger.

ROFLMAO!
Much like the reaction to the Letterman joke pathologically dishonest right wingers keep adding the sleaze.
Poor babies…furious a black man is in the White house.

I guess your eyesight is quite poor. …Hey they were not there yesterday or today , And they sure as heck wasn’t there when the story broke , Why are they not the headline news ? This is american tax dollars these disgusting bunch are getting “I am disgusted by the stench and sight of these people they would sell 12 and 15 year old girls .This should be front page news,

Posted by: Candobetter | September 16, 2009, 8:33 pm 8:33 pm

Ryan C,
There it is…I knew youd cry racism. The tape I saw last night was of a white Acorn employee. Stop trying the race card. It’s getting old. Make your case with facts…you have no basis to defend Acorn.

Posted by: Samuel | September 16, 2009, 8:35 pm 8:35 pm

“There it is…I knew youd cry racism. The tape I saw last night was of a white Acorn employee.”
You mean the tape of an ACORN employee “admitting” she murdered her husband?
The one where the workers later stated she was messing with the obvious scam and the San Bernadino police investigation found her ex husband alive and well.
And yes the right wing’s focus on an organization that helps poor minorities is based on racism.

Posted by: Ryan C | September 16, 2009, 8:42 pm 8:42 pm

ABC ,CNN, and the Peacock ,networks can report on what ever ,But this is really going over board , Why in the world would they not cover these kinds of things happening to young girls, Right here in america , And with american tax dollars ,

“I dont see how this could possibly be a partisan battle. Corruption is corruption, no matter your political leanings.”
ROFLMAO!
You mean how Republicans ignored corruption in their own ranks and on Wall Street yet want to go after an organization that helps poor minorities?
Gee how could that EVER look partisan.

Hey guys, remember a few years ago when mega money went missing in Iraq and they launched an investigation? Oh, that’s right. They didn’t.

“.Hey they were not there yesterday or today , And they sure as heck wasn’t there when the story broke ”
The 3 posts on the recent articles are from today. The first one was posted at 10:15am EST.
There was at least 1 story yesterday.
Jake first discussed the ACORN story when it broke last Friday.
But hey you had a script to read, who cares about the truth.

Posted by: Ryan C | September 16, 2009, 8:46 pm 8:46 pm

Typical Republican gotch! using a setup as the redhering to tie the whitehouse in with some employees coruption, which can only be atribute to bad hiring pratice, but the redhering this is not.

Posted by: justsaying | September 16, 2009, 8:49 pm 8:49 pm

Disgusting, The people that defend this are right down disgusting,

Posted by: Candobetter | September 16, 2009, 8:55 pm 8:55 pm

Why is the Obama administration always resorting to “blame Bush” when faced with some unpleasant issues? Take ACORN for example. Obama’s ties to that organization is well known. He was their lawyer for some time and they gave his campaign hundreds of thousands of dollars and vice versa. Funds should be cut off immediately, the organization thoroughly investigated and Obama should stop saying: Bush did it, too.

Posted by: Amanda Moserski | September 16, 2009, 8:56 pm 8:56 pm

It’s reassuring to know that the White House calls this “unacceptable”. They have the intelligence to see that this was beyond defense.

Posted by: Samuel | September 16, 2009, 8:59 pm 8:59 pm

ryanc, believe it or not, some people simply disagree with much of obama’s agenda…and it has nothing to do with race. many of those same people opposed much of the bush agenda as well. to suggest it’s blanket racism is to admit ignorance to the fact that not all americans walk around thinking of themselves as members of some “party.” and many of them also see staunch party types as near-unthinking automatons primarily interested in sandbox squabbles. leave the ad hominem attacks on the playground.

Posted by: davidfrat21 | September 16, 2009, 9:00 pm 9:00 pm

Evidently the White House didn’t realize that the tapes were doctored. They should have demanded that Fox release the full tapes before they commented. Various dolts have made that demand; one would expect the White House to follow suit.

What a wuss! Let me get this straight: Our fearless leader Mr. President will can his dedicated staffers because of an unstable, paranoid little blowhard with a television show. He will accept the lame meaningless “apology” from Joe the Lie Wilson. He will act like a child starving for friends in an effort to garner nonexistent bipartanship. However he will comment on a pointless subject regarding Kanye West. He will ignore those who put him in office. And for what? For someone as intelligent as he is supposed to be, he is certainly oblivious to the fact that he is alienating his base! I’m beginning to wonder why I bothered to even vote for this guy!

How about the people fine, dock the outragous salary one hundred dollars per word for every utterence of useless (sic) bu**shi* by every senator and congressman, whether on the floor of the respective body, or on the radio, or on tee vee, or in the printed media. The United States Congress, the house and the senate is a pathetic waste of time, and their salary, is theft. What a group of disjointed, uncooperative, devisive, sexually deviant, pandering to anyone or anything that will put taxpayer money, or foreign money for that matter in their disgusting, lying, never fought in combat, other than heterosexual, limp (in the manly sense) donkey pocket.

Posted by: Richard | September 16, 2009, 9:48 pm 9:48 pm

Obama is a hell of a lot more interested in what Kayne West did at the VMA’s than issuing a statement about the ACORN Scandal. Unfortunately a majority of the public feels the same way. We’re headed for trouble!

Posted by: will | September 17, 2009, 12:08 am 12:08 am

I hope these people who use “racism” in the “cry wolf” fahion that they do right now, are being laughed at.
Also, do remember that the little boy who cried wolf wasted his breath on the lie … and then had no ability to move anyone when the real threat was present.

I’m an independent. I can’t understand all you people caught up in partisanship and not seeing the corruption in both parties. They get you blaming each other and yelling at each other and defending your sides corruption. You fight with and hate each other while both sides go along making themselves and their cronies rich with your money.
WAKE THE HECK UP and demand we go after corruption where ever it is. Don’t let them use your hard earned money that way!!
