Who thinks they’ll stay in those jobs? They can make a bundle elsewhere, and they will. And they’ll be replaced by third-level talent who can’t do any better anywhere else.
This really isn’t rocket science. Really.

Sure thing – the market for banking execs who’ve bankrupted their companies to the point of needing bail outs is just teeming with openings right now…

Look at their salaries and bonuses last year.
Even with sloppy financial practices they shouldn’t have to work at all.

History has shown us that corruption cannot be stopped.

It seems the right move, monumental failure should not be rewarded with astronomical bonuses and salaries paid out of the taxpayer’s pocket.

ahhhh, the right wing, complain about the policy to try to remedy the situation, then complain about a solution…… all while offering nothing and taking the side of the people who caused the problem.
no small wonder why Republicans are now only 20% of the electorate and growing smaller by the day…… does a cult still classify as a political party? we will find out soon as republicans and the fringe right war among them sleves and continue to alienate everyone they can…
as the Pres so presciently noted:
‘they take pride in their own ignorance’

Congress needs a 90% pay cut and Obama’s Czar’s need a 100% pay cut.
Frank, Dodd & Rangel need prison for what they helped do to the banks & the economy as a whole out of personal greed.

Hey, what a great way to chase away the best management talent to non-bailout companies. That way these firms might never recover and pay off their bailout money.
Good thinking, Obama.

Yes, earl, you missed something. The Stupid Ones took charge.

A cult. LOL!!! I like that. A new Pew Research survey shows “the share of independents in the electorate is the highest in 70 years (36 percent), while the share of voters who call themselves Republicans is the lowest in 30 years (23 percent, compared to 35 percent for Democrats).”

Alyson I think the talk of GOP civil war and a possible party split are overblown but I was curious as to your thoughts.

The executives from those seven taxpayer-bailed out companies should work without compensation in return for the disgraceful job they have done.
They should not be allowed to quit; nor should they be fired.
Where is the justice in our country? It is not OK for them to walk away fat and happy.
AND, for those that were not top execs that work for these companies and are looking to receive bonus these checks at our expense, I suggest that the institution offer them a bonus, and when they accept they should it fire them as well for their unethical conduct.
Has justice has been surpassed by greed in our America.
Where is the justice in our society?
