Being Healthy Is Orszagulous!

Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag appears in a new White House video promoting wellness programs.

Specifically, the Princeton grad is encouraging his pocket-protector-wearing minions to wear pedometers and compete with him as to how many miles they walk.

“The idea is we all wear these pedometers,” the Orszagulous one says in the video. “Competition creates a strong incentive to do more of it.”

Prizes will be offered, but “your own health is perhaps the ultimate prize,” says the Budget chief, also mentioning lower levels of stress.

Now we need a device to attach to Obama to light up a small red light when he’s lying.
In Dreams of My father, Obama describes his green-eyed girlfriend whose father has a country estate.
This estate is described to a T and is located at 103 South Street, Dwight, Illinois.
This was the same home as William Ayers’ girlfriend who blew herself up while building a bomb for Fort Dix, NJ.
If Obama was living in NYC at the time, how was it possible for him to visit a town in Illinios?
William Ayers also describes the same girlfriend and estate in his memior, Fugitive Days. William Ayers also wrote Dreams of My Father.

“William Ayers also wrote Dreams of My Father.”

Sure thing, he spent a 1000 hours or so writing a book (that had mediocre sales at best in its first publishing) for free for a no-name constitutional law prof with no political experience or (at the time) definitive aspirations. Makes perfect sense in the right wing fantasy world. That makes so much more sense than a liberal Harvard grad pecking out “his novel” in his free time…
Are the right wingers trying to destroy what ever shred of credibility they have left with sane people?

Both Dreams of My Father and William Ayers’ Fugitive Days use the Homer story telling technique (used in the book Odyssey by Homer):
The books all start out with a dramatic event of the death. In Dreams, it is Obama’s aunt calling about his father dying. In Fugitive Days, the news of Ayers’ girlfriend who blew herself and two other Weathermen up while making a bomb for a dance at Fort Dix, NJ. In Odyssey, Homer’s memior, the book starts with the news of the death of Homer’s father.
The next part of the book goes back in time to tell the story in chronological order.
Who is to say Ayers was not paid by Obama. Since he and Bernadine Dohrn were fugitives for 15 years, they missed out on many earning years and retirement savings.
This would all mean that Obama is a liar when he said that Ayers was just a guy who lives in the neighborhood.
Obama had already cashed a $125,000 check as the advance, but had not written the book.
Given Chicagoland politics, why wouldn’t Obama pay William Ayers to write the book out of his own pocket.
Would that be a federal crime if taxes were not paid. Would that be a suspicious transaction for money laundering. maybe.
Like any small business, Obama could write off his expenses versus his book income on his taxes as a normal expense of writing a book.

We have one… it’s being used as the eternity candle on the altar at a Catholic church. ;)

Your ‘guesses’ about what ‘might’ have happened ‘if’ it might have happened are completely worthless drivel.
Best to use those little things called ‘facts’ rather than ‘guesses’.

I like the OMB Pedometer Challenge. I was hoping he’d slip in one of country music or poetry references :>)

Colonel Rebel–have you done any research on Jack Cashill, author of the theory you’re publishing here, in a completely off-topic manner?
Cashill’s most recent book published this year, apparently spends an entire chapter promoting the creationist ideas of a prominent member of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Unification Church, John Corrigan Wells.
According to wikipedia, “A member of the Unification Church, Wells wrote that the teachings of church founder Sun Myung Moon, his own studies at the Unification Theological Seminary and his prayers convinced him to devote his life to “destroying Darwinism.”
Interesting that Cashill is not only interested in proving Ayers wrote Obama’s book, but also in promoting people who are interested in destroying science.
