I find it incredible that as a once fiercely independent people we now find our position to be continually trying to defend ourselves against an encroaching government.
Are democrats not the freedom loving people they once were, has this control thingy captured their souls?

And no, the Hyde Amendment will not prevent ObamaCare money from funding abortions. It only applies to Medicaid, not other federal medical funding.

What bothers me about Obama and that crew he surrounded himself with is that they approach everything like children.
1. Everyone should have health care, who could argue with that? The problem is they don’t know how to fix it, other than killing the tax payer. For that case the Republicans don’t know either.
The problem is they ALL don’t what to upset the money people like the AMA, Unions, and other clicks which has put us in this spot.
2. Close the jail in Cuba – nice idea but again a child like statement – when? how? you see the process no thinking.
3. Get rid of don’t ask don’t tell? Ok it takes a signature from Obama todate no signature? He ran his mouth for a year about this to the gays who gave him millions?
Obama has never done anything in his life – he is little more than a shoe shine and a hair cut and not much more. I admit he has a way about him but we are finding out its all fluff no substance.
We are in trouble – when I say Obama include pelosi, reid, franks, dodd, shummer, and the assorted creeps he has in the white house. I for one had hoped he would bring the change we needed but what he gave us was worst than what we had. I find it hard to believe anyone could be worst than Carter – Obama so far will go down in history as most likely the worst president we have had this century, he thank pelosi and and the left
