VIDEO: McConnell Offers Bipartisan Support on H1N1

He may not like the President's health care plan, but Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell said that any additional resources the White House request for battling H1N1 would get full bipartisan support.  Senator Claire “Don’t Call It Swine Flu” McCaskill, gave the administration high marks for their handling of the national health emergency.

Sorry, George…This does not endear me to Sen. McConnell. I do suspect there are countless people showing signs of this H1N1 flu who are not getting the medical help they need because they do not have health insurance.
To me the state of emergency is 47 million without healthcare in this country instead of a lone flu. How many die from tuberculosis, cancers and other diseases because they are shut out of our healthcare system?
The gutsy congressman from Florida, Rep. Grayson put up a site, namesofthedead.com. Cheer his efforts before McConnell’s.
McConnell, his GOP members and Blue-Dog Democrats are part of the problem when they refuse to back the public option.
Thanks for listening,
Mary!

Mary get a grip on reality,if you want to pay for 47 million that doesn’t have health care it is going to cost you.I have enough trouble paying for my own.Reform the health care industry, but don’t create another entitlement that the American people cannot afford.
