DNC Topped RNC in Oct. Fund-Raising
ABC News’ Rick Kleinreports: The Democratic National Committee is set to announce that it raised $11.5 million last month, according to a party official, topping the $8.79 million that the Republican National Committee heraldedas a new one-month record for an off-cycle year. The official said the DNC's month marks a party record in the post-2003 period, with the McCain-Feingold law's ban on soft money contributions in effect. The strong pre-election month left the DNC with $12.3 million in cash on hand as of the beginning of November, compared to the RNC's $11.2 million. The Democratic Party is also carrying a $4.4 million debt; the RNC is currently debt-free. So far this year, the RNC has raised $69.2 million, to the DNC's $66.3 million. UPDATE: The final DNC filing with the Federal Election Commission showed a cash-on-hand figure of $12.9 million, not $12.3 million.

Yup. They sure know how to become beholden to all the special interests……even more than the GOP.

Did you miss the big bit in bold, large type at the end? “So far this year, the RNC has raised $69.2 million, to the DNC’s $66.3 million.”
So that’s even more than the GOP in Right Wing Fantasy Land?

Sad part is that anybody donates to these parties. Of course, those that benefit are sure to fork over some cash.

It is time for a reality check for the Democratic Party. President Obama’s approval rating is down to 46%(and falling). The unemployment rate continues to climb. (Significantly more people are currently unemployed than at ANY point during the Bush administration). The stock market is still much lower than it was during most of the Bush administration. MORE US troops are currently deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq than at any point in the Bush presidency. The national debt is sky high. (Higher than it ever was during the Bush presidency). Earlier this month, Republicans won both of the Governor’s seats that were up for election. Republican fund raising is setting new records. People are actually starting to think of the Bush presidency as THE GOOD OLD DAYS! Mr. Obama and the Democrats should be concerned about these factors–especially with the mid-term elections being less than a year away.

1st. DNC is party in power so they still cant get ahead with funding. if you do the math correctly like most budget minded people will do take the debt from DNC and they only have 6.8 million available and the RNC has all of their 11.2 million available..so RNC is the real winner in this months fund raising. Do the math and you see clearer.

Sending my check 2morrow to RNC. At least they did not tax me to the poor house and they don’t believe in killing businesses which hire people. Democrats know how to do one thing only and that’s tax, tax, tax, and more tax. Oh and their good at spending taxpayer money real well. Also good at keeping the poor poorer and making middle income less middle income. So much for Hope and Change.

Until the RNC gets new leadership, my money is staying in my wallet.

Well, let see- Soros channeling funds through others, SEIU mandating members contribute to PAC, coupled with deep pocket ACORN funds-sounds like the DNC has many interests.
