The skit gave a realistic portrayal of a typical Obama speech. His speeches are so mechanical and boring that audiences either sleep or find other ways to pass the time.
Very funny stuff.
Especially the part where Biden moves in to get his picture taken with the gatecrashers and Obama as usual is completely clueless.

Obama campaigned on increasing the effort in Afghanistan – not Iraq. That is exactly what he is doing. Iraq he opposed from the beginning, and correctly so.
Afghanistan would not be the mess it is today, if Bush and Cheney had kept their eyes on the ball instead of indulging their neo-con wet dream of attacking Iraq. And hundreds of thousands would not have been killed. And hundreds of thousands more would not have been maimed.

Funny. Ir’s be even better if Fred Armison would:
1. continually look back and forth at teleprompters
2. pronounce the herky-jerky cadence even more
3. talk about himself, keying in on the historic nature of every issue (it’s about Obama, remember?)
4. list rules for radicals in bullet point form
5. doing the ubiquitous hissing “s’s”, making sure to draw each one out, especially those that end wordssssss. this would give him time, of course to tilt his head upward and out, so we get a good look at the upside of his head, you know, like in the propaganda posters. it also would give “obama” a chance to pivot to the opposite-side telemprompter, a must for a telepromting prezzzzzzzz.

There is no such thing as a “denier” in global warming.
There are true believers (those who like to think that man in general is bad but they are the exceptions and are here to ‘save’ the world), doubters (weather changes constantly with or without us) and skeptics (why would the scientists mislead the public and destroy data if there were any truth to what they are proposing; and how can they base their findings on so little data when the earth is millions of years old?).
Using the word “deniers”, that is mostly used for those who deny the holocaust, against global warming doubters and skeptics is purposely misleading and evil.

The current theory of climate change is based on a large foundation of observations and data (very little of it from those infamous 30 scientists who chatted about dolling up a power point). Anyone who is dismissing the result without bringing any data to the table or alternative analysis is not practicing modern science, they are denying a scientific result. Hence the term deniers. Those who work with the scientific method don’t really how to deal with people who dismiss the results without data – that’s the realm of politics and religion. Science argues data (which is where the theory of climate change came and has been supported over the past 30 years).
“why would the scientists mislead the public and destroy data”
There is no evidence of scientists destroying any primary data. None. The data is publicly available from the primary sources. Again, deniers don’t bring any data to the table. They arrogantly demand to see real scientist’s work to look for typos rather than collecting the data from public primary sources and doing a proper peer verification (ie, their own analysis).

The magnetic field of the earth has been declining in strength for the past couple of hundred years. (True)
However, it has begin to fall precipitously in the last 20 years. (also true).
Following the AGW method, I am going to posit that the cause of this decline is the general use of Cell Phones that has virtually exploded across the globe in the past 20 years.
If we continue using cell phones at current rates, the Earth’s magnetic field will virtually disappear by the year 2050. This will cause a dramatic weakening of the Van Allen belts which currently shields us from high energy particles. This will case a dramatic increase in cancers for all living beings that live on the surface of the earth. It may eventually lead to a return to the seas of all life on earth (thank God they are rising due to AGW).
Face it folks, we are done for unless we give up Cell Phones!

Interesting that the right wing thinks its was ok to invade Iraq based on what was said 5 years earlier.
recall that right wingers claimed that limited series of air strikes on Iraq as wag the dog tactics to distract from the burgeoning Lewinsky scandal.
Once again the mighty Clenis distracted right wingers while Iraq continued to build their non existent WMD stockpile.
