POTUS and FLOTUS get the H1N1 Vaccine Shot
EmailABC News' Sunlen Miller reports: The White House confirms that President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have each received the H1N1 shot. The President first divulged that he received the vaccination during an interview with April Ryan of American Urban Radio Networks in the Oval Office today. “People need to understand that this vaccine is safe,” Obama said. “Michelle and I just got the shots ourselves… we wanted to make sure nationwide that children were getting it before adults did. And now there's enough vaccine so that adults should get it as well. ” The President spoke about how his daughters received the vaccine in October, when it was first being made available to school-age children. He said that it’s important for parents to vaccinate their children. “That's the most important population because this flu, unlike seasonal flu, disproportionately affects children and young people — healthy children and young people as well as people with underlying conditions like asthma or neurological diseases. So it is so important and, frankly, the African American vaccination rate has been lower, substantially lower so far than the general population," he said. "I think people just need to understand: If I had the two people that are most important in my life, my two daughters, get it right away — and they've been just fine with it and in fact haven't gotten sick this entire flu season — then you need to know that you need to make sure your children get it as well." Obama received his vaccine yesterday in the White House residence from a nurse with the White House Medical Unit. The First lady received hers a few days prior, the White House says. The First Daughters – Malia and Sasha – received theirs on October 27th after it became available to Washington, DC schoolchildren. The White House then said the president and First Lady would wait until the needs of priority target groups — young people under 24, pregnant women, and people with underlying conditions — received theirs first. “We think it's the right thing to do. We will stand in line like everybody else. And when folks say it's our turn, that's when we'll get it,” Mr. Obama said. All four members of the family also previously received the seasonal flu shot. -Sunlen Miller

WHAT?!?!?! I thought that H1N1 was a CRISIS! CRISIS! CRISIS!
Well, now we all know that was yet another big lie. But at least Obama’s friends in Big Pharma made a few bucks.

The people of the world need to wake up and realize if each person does not do all that they can to build up there immune system naturedly by eating a healthy diet and making sure the water they drink is pure they may unknowingly fall into the devouring jaws of the all consuming elite. Oh for pete’s sake people. This is just a little reminder to everyone to get the H1N1 vaccine if you can.
I hope everyone else does because I can’t take it or the ‘regular’ flu shots because of allergies.
I’m glad the girls got it in October, but I think both President and Mrs. Obama should have gotten the shots long before now.
I would hate to think of the POTUS dying from a perfectly preventable disease.

I imagine the president is too busy to research the safety of vaccines which is unfortunate. I imagine he has no clue as to what he is injecting into himself or his family.
No worries to all the fear based virus haters. I’ll pass up my vaccines so you can have it.

We’ll be standing in line for x-rays, mammograms, cancer treatment, surgery and every other form of medical treatment once the hideous Obamacare takes effect, though.

Managing a doctor’s office, we at first decided we would not take extra H1N1 precautions beyond the normal continuous hand washing and sanitization procedures. After we saw a severe rise in H1N1 cases, particularly in children, we decided additional measures were required. We bought some UV sanitizers from germtools.com (a doctor’s office secret!) and use them twice a day on everything in the office. Heck, I might even get one for the house.

I thank God that Obama is not giving up. God will make this healthcare bill pass because is needed and the right thing to happen now. Gos bless USA AMERICA but let USA citizens and friends remember God and put God first as the PILGRIM fathers did.If not USA will keep on having problems.Please put back christianity ,bible back in courts,schools,homes for it promotes peace,love,do not kill in Jesus name I pray.

Well what can I say if the President got himself vaccinated than I feel very good that i got it too. I don’t think he meant standing in line outside the building. He meant standing in line IN TIME behind the high-rish groups that got theirs in previous months and weeks.
Some people seem so happy to find any morsel that they can pick apart like vultures looking for a piece of meat. I wonder if the way these people conduct their lives would withstand such close nit-picking?

If this piece of news did not air on any of the national news channels something else is going on here. If this news was true they would have used every opportunity to broadcast this out to the widest audiences possible. Even if it is true I still believe that OB is forced into doing this.
My take on the vaccination itself: Why would you need it? Do you know exactly how the immune system works?
Young children does not have a fully formed immune system so whats the point of taking it? This vaccine is so effective that they need to develop two versions of the same thing?
For those that thinks they are off the hook after the first few weeks of taking it I say good luck to that. The dormant stages for the problems to surface will take years to develop depending on that individual’s health condition.
Bottom line: its a soft kill weapon folks.

You don’t really think he got the real H1N1 Vaccine do you? That is the oldest trick in the book, that injection was a salt solution only, very harmless. Gosh Presidents have been doing this for years, a phony photo op. The 2 billion dollars wasted on H1N1 vac, is a useless waste of taxpayers dollars, actually that was borrowed from China -its not even our money! This is another drug cartel hoax.

Actually you see that Pres. O didn’t emphasize giving the H1N1 vaccine to pregnant mothers because it is causing thousands of miscarriages. You don’t see him reporting this vital information for couples who expect to have their baby born alive. This causes a drug induced abortion for preg. moms -do not get this shot. Obama also didn’t do his homework, Pres. Kennedy banned all experimental drugs/vaccines to be given to pregnant women back in the 1960′s for a reason. Remember the thalidomide babies born with no arms or legs? Read up on it folks-we did a story on it-so Obama is dead wrong here, and his hero Kennedy was a smarter President.
