		<description>&quot;It sounds like a lot of money, but it works out to about $343 per person. Don&#039;t know about you, but I pay far more than that in taxes.&quot;
Even before this bill is signed into law, this is where we stand...
US National Debt = $12.1 TRILLION
Debt per Citizen = $39,318 (308 million citizens)
Debt per TAXPAYER = $111,312 (108.8 million taxpayers)
Debt to GDP Ratio = 85.55%

		<description>We provide 70% of the aid to Somalia and Ethiopia. We have 50,000 troops in Japan. We guard the borders in Korea (while ours are wide open). We provide a substancial share of the funding for the United Nations. We provide protection for a majority of the planet. We are about to provide medical aid to people who are not citizens. We do all this on borrowed money. Why?
It’s time we start taking care of the United States and let the rich nations take care of the rest of the world. Stop playing Big Shoulders Daddy Warbucks to the world and our budget will balance with billions left over.

		<description>&quot;In fact, an across-the-board spending freeze is a hatchet,&quot;
Obama said an across the board spending freeze is a bad idea.
&quot;and we do need the scalpel, because there are some programs that don&#039;t work at all.&quot;
Obama said he would take a very limited and targeted approach to cutting budget.
&quot;Some programs are underfunded. And I want to make sure we are focused on the programs that work.&quot;
Obama said many programs would see a budget increase.
I&#039;m not sure where Mary learned English, but I&#039;m baffled as to how she interpreted that pretty straightforward quote of Obama&#039;s.
I am quite satisfied with my vote and donations. Obama has been performing fully up to my expectations. Not a great President so far (few are in their first year!), but a welcome return to competence after the ineptitude of the Bush Jr Whitehouse.

		<description>How about our own poll.
1. Did you get a raise last year?
2. Did you get a raise this year?
3. Have you already been told there will be no raise in 2010?
4. Did you get a pay cut in 2009?
5. Are things turning around for you?
I&#039;ll start:
1. NO
2. NO
3. YES
4. Heck NO.
2..yes me

		<description>plantain_11
In 2007 141 million filed tax returns, 47 million did not pay taxes, or got money back. That leaves 94 million to pay for this additional pork. That works out to $11702 additional over and above what they have already paid. Did you pay more that that??
