EmailFrom ABC’s Jon Garcia: The Obama’s have arrived in Hawaii for their Christmas vacation and White House officials say that, aside from his daily briefings, President Obama’s schedule is private and unplanned.
Last year President-elect Obama took his family to the beach, to local stores and restaurants and Obama himself spent some time on the golf course. White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton wouldn’t commit POTUS and his family to any of those activities this year–nor did Mr. Burton obtain the traditional presidential reading list–but he did note that Obama had a stack of DVDs on Air Force One on the flight over. What will he be watching? Burton had no comment on the titles of those movies.

wis134, I give a damn if he’s not only spending $4,000 per day of my money for his rental house but similar amounts to rent two more houses for his family – and then charging the taxpayer to fly them to Hawaii and feed them. Let them eat cake, eh, Barry Antoinette?
