The Presidential Planner
From Sunlen Miller:
President Obama today will give a major economic address laying out what he wants to see from Capitol Hill to help spur job creation.
In a late morning speech at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., Mr. Obama will address proposals in three main areas: energy, small businesses and infrastructure and how all three can help create jobs in the country.
The president indicated on Monday that some of the repaid money and cost savings from the $700 billion TARP bill funds could be put toward small businesses to stimulate job growth.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that if TARP funds were used to go toward measures to create jobs, the message that sends to Main Street is that “help is on the way.”
“It sends the message that your economic vitality is just as important as anybody that lives or works or breathes on Wall Street. That's the message the president has hoped and wanted to send for his entire administration, and that's what — that's what he's done in the recovery plan. That's what he will continue to do tomorrow in his speech,” said Gibbs.

In the afternoon, the president and Vice President Joe Biden will have lunch in the Private Dining Room and then later meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the Oval Office.

“Was the Democrats’ Healthcare Strategy Written in Federal Prison?”

Obama shows how committed he is to transparency by holding a gov’t workshop on openess–that was closed to the public.
Another big fat lie.
If the MSM media bothered to report half of the reality going on in the Obama Administration he would have the approval of Harry Reid–14%.

Don’t hold your breathe.
Do you really think the Obama controlled media will report that a convicted felon was invited to his State Dinner? And that he wrote the HC strategy in prison?
The media has Obama’s back not ours.
They didn’t even bother to report about the ACORN undercover films, communist Van Jones or ClimateGate.

Obama has made history again.
At 47%, his approval is the lowest for any president ever at this time in their presidency.
Truly “unprecedented”.

“The media has Obama’s back not ours.”
This has become shockingly evident. It is such a curious phenomenon. Something I have never seen before in America.
Who broke into the former Governor of Illinois’s lawyer’s office? Who would want to see this evidence?

Meanwhile, ‘Going Rogue: An American Life’ by Sarah Palin is still #1 in Amazon.com book sales.
“…her readers feel they are hearing an authentic voice. I find the voice undeniably authentic (yes, I know the book was written “with the help” of Lynn Vincent, but many books, including my most recent one, are put together by an editor). It is the voice of small-town America, with its folk wisdom, regional pride, common sense, distrust of rhetoric (itself a rhetorical trope), love of country and instinctive (not doctrinal) piety. It says, here are some of the great things that have happened to me, but they are not what makes my life great and American. (“An American life is an extraordinary life.”) It says, don’t you agree with me that family, freedom and the beauties of nature are what sustains us? And it also says, vote for me next time. For it is the voice of a politician, of the little girl who thought she could fly, tried it, scraped her knees, dusted herself off and “kept walking.”” – Stanley Fish, NY Times
The last time there was a political figure as divisive as Sarah Palin was… Barack Obama.

Moody’s just said that if we keep this up we will lose our triple A credit rating for the first time. If anything should put a stop to all this spending Congress and the President wants to do THIS should be it.
Without this rating our ability to raise capital is hurt. It means we can’t just ask the Chinese for more money anymore.
This should be what really scares us the most.

“that some of the repaid money and cost savings from the $700 billion TARP bill funds could be put toward small businesses to stimulate job growth.”—
Here we have an excellent example of whats wrong with this white house. As the TARP money is being repaid, BOM is returning a 20 billion profit, AIG a 30 billion loss, the auto industry another 30 billion in losses. As best I can tell, it appears that we are getting less than our money back from TARP. Those three alone (including one with profit) accounts for 40 billion in losses. Yet our president now wants to take the “profit from TARP” and use it to stimulate job growth. Since when is a 40 billion dollar loss “additional capital” to be used on other programs?? But wait, this is the same government that believes throwing money at special interest groups will create jobs…
