Santorum: Money Will Not Defeat Obama, Ideas Will
Rick Santorum's Full Speech at CPAC 2012
For a typical southern state and northern state, i.e. North Carolina and Connecticut , the results of opinion poll conducted by local TV stations on the question “if pres. Obama deserves to receive the Nobel Peace Prize” clearly show the majority of people believe Obama does not deserve to win the Nobel prize for Peace. For North Carolina, the yes vote is 22% and no votes is 76%. In Connecticut, the yes vote is 26% and no votes is 73%.

Martin Luther King wasn’t all that popular with Mr. and Mrs. America either back in 1964 when he won the Nobel.
People are not always able to see the larger ethical issues – they are victims of their own limited belief systems, biases and bigotry.
p.s – Obama himself has expressed great surprise at the award

President Calderon organized the informal breakfast meeting. NATO Secretary General and former Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen, chair of the Conference of the Parties 15 (the Copenhagen meeting) will also attend. The purpose of the meeting is to review where the negotiations stand and the path forward on climate change.

“Martin Luther King wasn’t all that popular with Mr. and Mrs. America either back in 1964 when he won the Nobel.”
I have a totally different memory of Dr. King’s award. I recall, being from a small all white rural farming town in Northern Wisconsin who only saw blacks on television (curiously in B&W), that we were impressed by Reverend King’s message and courage. There was no animosity, just pride. Of what we knew of him, he was an extraordinary man.
Some of the people in power (and a noisy few) may have been threatened but most average Americans were not. Most people know the difference between right and wrong.
As a modern day liberal, you project your own feelings that people are victims of their “limited” belief systems, biases and bigotry onto others. That is a very paternalistic and contemptuous way of looking at your fellow Americans.

Hopefully part of the cash prize will be used to pay for this boondoggle of a flight. We could greatly reduce carbon emissions just by limiting BHO to one trip a month.

Jake, have you read Charles Krauthammer’s
12/11 article “Socialism” at washingtonpost?
It’s about all the “environmentalism” garbage going on.
Redistribution of wealth.
Throw in reparations, too!
Reagan and Thatcher previously had put a stop to it.
Now the socialists are trying it again.
Charles explains it all. From red to green.
It’s a must-read.

I look at Quinnipiac. I look at Marist. I look at Rasmussen. I look at the RCP Average.
And then I laugh and laugh and laugh.
Out loud.

Well PBO is not even half way through his term in office maybe the peace prize is just what he needs as a goal to get the war effort done so we can walk away and at least say they had peace when we left their soil. I doubt it will stay that way but that is up to them. Iin all honesty can’t condem a person until he has had at least a good shot at fixing things that have gone way South. Color should not matter anyone can do a good or bad job depending on who advises them! I would still like to see term limits and the ability for working folks to run for congress at least it takes more then a President to screw up the Country’s directions. However having said all this the average American does not know how good they have it on their worst day compared to the best day in some foreign countries. Feel blessed that you were born American there are many whod have loved to have had the option.

Was it really Obama meeting with the Embassy or just his cardboard cutout?
Those poor kids got dissed by Obama.
Shame on him.
