‘Top Line’ — White House Party Crashers’ Blame Game

ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: A tough day for the Secret Service in congressional hearings on the White House party-crashers caps a tough week for the White House on an uncomfortable story. On ABCNews.com’s “Top Line” today, we checked in with Politico’s Nia-Malika Henderson about the White House’s attempts to minimize the political fallout. “The White House did initially come out really strong in defending the East Wing, particularly the social secretary Desiree Rogers, essentially saying that she had no blame here, and pretty much put it on the Secret Service. But since then they pretty much backpedaled from that,” Henderson told us. The White House wants to keep Rogers from having to testify before Congress because “their perception is that the folks on the Hill are kind of making a bigger deal about this then should be made.” Is Rogers’ job in jeopardy? “Her job is certainly safe,” Henderson said. The White House immediately pivoted to the economy with a jobs summit today — part of a busy week that included a new Afghanistan strategy, and the first votes on the Senate health care bill. I had more on the White House jobs summit, on the “World News Webcast” today. Watch it HERE.

I have seen more security at a flee market
that the White House staff has shown.
This is what happens when you hire good
friends instead of quality people who
really need a job.

L’il Desiree is being protected. Obama
and his slap-dash WH (think EXPERIENCE,
here) are still on a learning curve.
Think “hockey stick” shape….and miles
to go before they sleep; and miles
to go……………

give the Secret Service a break! They must of thought that the new erstwhile President had invited these characters. How could the SS keep up with all the parties, golf matches, international junkets, and doing a background check of all of Obama’s associates, fundraisers, lobbyists, friends, family, and mentors! The FBI will STILL be backlogged trying to check out the particulars of these characters. Heck Obama would not likely pass a basic government clearance with his history, travels, names, associates, mentors, fundraisers, etc! Let’s focus on REAL issues: economy, wars, weak dollar, illegal immigration, almost narco-state on our border, etc!

I am looking forward to seeing these lawbreakers in handcuffs on national T.V. being hauled off to jail, and given huge fines or jail time.
