vanden Heuvel: Media Need an Exit Strategy from Party Crashers

On our "This Week" Roundtable, Peggy Noonan said a sign that the line of acceptable behavior in this country has moved was the shock expressed by the White House party crashers for being criticized.

Referring to the line, Noonan said the Salahis "couldn’t find that little sucker.”

Katrina vanden Heuvel added that the media are in need of an exit strategy from covering the story of the Salahis’ escapades.

“Peggy Noonan said a sign that the line of acceptable behavior in this country has moved was the shock expressed by the White House party crashers for being criticized . . . Noonan said the Salahis “couldn’t find that little sucker.” ”
Surely the most moronic thing I’ve heard from an alleged adult in quite some time. OF COURSE the Salahis knew where “the line of acceptable behavior” was; THEY CROSSED IT ON PURPOSE, TO DRAW ATTENTION TO THEMSELVES. (They may have misjudged the line of CRIMINAL behavior, but that’s another matter.)
Noonan’s Noo Joisey grande dame act is still amusing, and as 60-year-old lushes go, she’s fairly cute, but she needs to wise up and dry out before even the WSJ tires of her increasingly vapid ramblings.

Seldom do I find agreement with George Will but when vanden Heuvel appears on the show, I believe we both find ourselves listening to her with looks of incredulity plastered to our faces. Mine diminishes quickly tho, as I remind myself that rational thinking need not be present in humans and George Will seems to believe or at least still cling to hope otherwise.

Katrina vanden Heuvel needs an exit strategy too………..from HERSELF!

Please no exit strategy for Katrina vanden Heuvel.
After George Will, she is my favorite guest at the round table.
Her incoherent ramblings are a thing of joy and have provided many a belly laugh in my household.
She is good natured and highly entertaining.
ABC news would be wise to have her on more.

Noz – Katrina’s so called “incoherent” ramblings are a welcome counterbalance to George Will’s grumbling conservative and difficult to understand statements and articles. Without a counterbalance, conservatives are mostly a bunch of insensitive, anti-government, “The GOP way is the only way” blowhards.

Now there’s an understatement.

Dearest Bob,
Didn’t you read my post?
I’d like to see Katrina on more.
It would be OK with me if she was on every week like George is.
They could rename the round table and call it
The George and Katrina Show™.

More crap from ABC news, just like the Balloon Boy.How about reporting on news that is important to the country.ABC doesn’t have time for the Tea Parties and Tax protest, but it can spend weeks on end investigating reality show crap,it’s no wonder Fox is taking market share from ABC.
