March for Life Goes Digital

ABC News’ Yunji de Nies Reports: Tomorrow thousands are expected to rally along Constitution Avenue, stopping at the Hill and the Supreme Court during the 37th annual March for Life, held each year on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.  This year’s march has a digital twist: those who can’t make it to Washington can still join in – virtually. There, you can create an avatar and march with the likes of Sarah Palin, Michael Steel and Jon Boehner. – see their avatars here. The March For Life organizers will hold a rally outside of the White House tonight in Lafayette Park.  No word on how many are expected to attend, though the group says they are permitted for 3,000.  The group is hoping to catch the attention of President Barack Obama, who supports reproductive rights. President George W. Bush was out of town every year the march took place and never attended the rally in person, but did call the marchers to voice his support.  Presidents Ronald Regan and George H. W. Bush also addressed the marchers by telephone.  President Reagan use his radio address in 1983 to affirm his opposition to abortion. ABC’s Karen Travers contributed to this report.

“who supports reproductive rights.”
Unless you’re the reproductee. Nice verbiage.

“who supports reproductive rights”
Like killing an unborn human being with the right to life? Doesn’t that baby have its own right to be born and have a chance at reproducing himself someday?

“reproductive rights” is code for the intentional killing of an unborn child.
Sickening.

Birth control pill abort fertilized eggs. IUD’s abort fertilized eggs.
Are you against birth control as well?

Nonsense comment. Say you have a choice of euthanasia for your grandmother. None of her organs are functioning on their own, she’s relying solely on life support. What would you pick, tierra? Would you humanely turn off the machine? (Releasing her much like the fertilized egg.) Or would you use an industrial strength vacuum to rip her apart?
You’re a fan of comparing apples and oranges, I know, but this one was a ridiculous stretch. Trying to make us seem like simpletons so the argument is easier? Just don’t comment then, if you can’t bring an A game.

I was part of the March for Life 2010. 3000 people ! Are you kidding me? More like 300,000 people. Your ignoring this story is an illustration of your bias.
Media typically treats Right to Life people as uneducated. In reality, the majority of the folks there were Catholics, clearly one of the most educated demographics in the country. If this were a Right To Kill Babies march, you would be all over it.
And yes, the majority of marchers were white. The majority of Planned Parenthood’s murdered children are not. We stand for the right of ALL people to be born!

Once a person sees what happens to a baby who is aborted, it changes everything. Let me try to understand the verbage…SO prochoice means the choice to kill who we want or don’t want?

It’s sad how the media has become so one sided. I pray God forgives them for their sin and they have a conversion of heart. May God have mercy on their souls and may He continue to protect His unborn children. I was at the March too – it was more like 500,000 – same as the 912 event that wasn’t covered. We the People, all people, including the unborn have a voice. Remember NY Times v. Sullivan – Heed are voices are Rising!

Why is the main stream media so afraid to print the truth? Abortion is murder. There were atleast 400,000 people at this years March for Life and the March for Life will continue to grow & grow year after year. There is no stopping it. The majority of people in the USA are PRO-LIFE according to all of the polls. If you think that the baby in the womb isn’t human, just a blob of tissue, then what does that make you who also started in the womb. Thank God that your mother chose life for you. You’re living proof of what a conceived (fertilized egg) is: A LIFE!

President Bush was not out of town during the 2008 March for Life. Along with about 200 other march participants, I got to see him at the White House, where he gave a brief speech thanking and encouraging us.
