Obama Says Tiger Woods Can “Absolutely” Be Rehabilitated

My goodness,is this guy out to lunch?.Nobody is even talking about Tiger right now-even Obama’s timing is going down the drain.His entire legislative program is on the verge of going down and he has time to talk to People?

People jumped on Hume because he had no idea about Buddhism and was proselytizing about a certain flavor of Christianity.

I am guessing right now the only thing Tiger feels terrible about is that he got caught…come on Obama, you are smarter than that….aren’t you?

Just once I would like to hear the President say “You know, I’d rather not comment on that”. “I really don’t know enough of the facts and personally do not think it is appropriate to comment”.
Didn’t he learn anything from the Professor Gates issue? Does he really have to voice his opinion about everything from the Cambridge Police to College Football playoffs to Tiger Woods. Please.

He was simply asked a question and he answered it tactfully and diplomatically. For those claiming he should have other, more important things on his mind — he does. So the question should be, why was he ASKED this question??? Not why did he answer it!

What Editor, in their “right” mind, chose to run this story regarding an interview that was done in the past and scheduled to be released on Friday by another publication? Given the events of the day and since no one has spoken about Tiger Woods for two weeks… what’s the story or motivation here?

With all the corruption in our US government, hardworking U.S. taxpayers can’t trust Obama, his administration or the liberal members of Congress.
They need to concentrate on unemployment, the economy and more important issues that affect us! What happened to transparency and allowing us to review everything on TV? Why have some senators been offered perks for their individual states at the cost of all American taxpayers?

Tiger’s PR people planted this question. What was President O supposed to say? “No.” Tiger needs to go sit down.

Obama is right. Tiger can rehabilitate himself because he is still the best Golfer in the world and has the money to reinvent himself and invest in himself. In addition, the fans and the Golf industry will be the biggest losers without Tiger. There are several examples of celebrities getting resurrected because fans are suckers for their stars. The better question is when will Tiger rehabilitate himself. I predict in two years we will not even remember his misadventures.

The President would have been better off saying something like “I hope so,’ or better yet, ‘ I’m not qualified to make that kind of judgement.’ Personally, I’m pretty fed up with Tiger Woods; if he dropped off the planet, it would be fine with me.

Tiger does not have a sex addiction problem, he is just a “player” and probably has been for a long time. If Marriage and kids didn’t change him, he never will, he can not be with just one woman. Elin should have checked this out before she married him and he should have said no to marriage if he couldn’t be committed. Like any player, he probably thought he wouldn’t get caught.

I’m another voter who voted for Obama and I agree with you when does the president start working for the American people and do what he promised. It’s embarrassing that someone would even ask the President about Tiger. What is wrong with our media? That was rhetorical. I read that Hillary Clinton will cut short her trip to Asia to go to Haiti. Oh, and while you may not like many of them, this President got 96.7% of his legislation passed last year. He actually broke the record set by LBJ which was 86%. Wow. With all that has gone on in the last 24 hours, ABC runs with this. And this benefits us how? I would think that after the latest Gallup Poll, our president might want to spend a little more time addressing the economy and the so callled health care bill that more than 50% of voters disapprove of how he has handled so far. If he is that concerned about Tiger, he could have just picked up the phone.

Woods should consult the man with all the answers…Pat Robertson. After all, he does know why the horrific earthquake occurred in Haiti.

Well there you have it. This is consistent with the Gitmo philosophy. Depending upon how Tiger is ostracized by business, golf, and the public in general he may just say the heck with it and live it up. Or like the President says; put his life back together. Tiger’s chances are much better than the repatriated Gitmo detainees.

Look as it’s been pointed out by the Media and Americans Tiger cheated on his wife and that’s worse then Mark McGwire taking drugs for years and lying under oath. tiger promised his wife to be faithful but cheated on her several times. now he’s probably promising her that he can change while she can only hope.
obama promised not only hope and change, but less war, gitmo closing, public option and transparency among other things. he’s kept none. he’s only been faithful to the pharma and banking industries while screwing the constituencies that elected him to office. He has 3 years to get out of the dog house. I can see why he puts a lot of hope in Tiger’s recovery.

The CIC was asked a question about the Tiger Wood situation and he answered this trivial question and now a whole lot of malcontents are all over The President about it. All President end up answer questions like depending on what’s going on in that particular news cycle that week.
