SEIU’s Stern: ‘Bad Choice of Words’ to Equate Senators to Terrorists
ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: SEIU President Andy Stern is walking back an eyebrow-raising comparison he made earlier this week, where he compared Democratic senators to “terrorists” for holding up health care reform. "It was a bad choice of words," Stern said on MSNBC Tuesday. "What I would say is that the American people sent the Senate there to have a debate, not to say, 'We are going to hold the whole Senate hostage until I get my way. We don't even debate until I get my special needs.' That is not what people are expecting from the Democratic Senate. The hostage-taking, deal-making has to end, and we have to stand up and fight for what's right for people." In a speech Tuesday, and in an appearance on ABC’s “Top Line” that same day, Stern said some moderate senators “acted like terrorists” by threatening to sink health care reform. Today, the Workforce Fairness Institute, a business group that tangles frequently with Big Labor, released a Web video calling on Stern to name the senators that he considers to be terrorists.

Santorum: Money Will Not Defeat Obama, Ideas Will
Rick Santorum's Full Speech at CPAC 2012
This using terrorist to describe anybody that doesn’t agree with you, or doesn’t do what you want, is really getting out of hand.
Left-wing nuts call President Bush a terrorist; right-wing nuts call President Obama a terrorist.
Now we got special interest groups calling any member of Congress that doesn’t do what the group wants terrorists.
It’s like Americans get fixated on one word and use it for purposes that have absolutely nothing to do with the definition of the word
Maybe we need to get hold of a good dictionary and a theasarus and try to learn one new word a day.

Right. They are simply behaving like 2 yr old kids, arguing over a toy.

This is just way too funny..I mean keep this guy on TV! “The hostage taking, deal making has to end”?? SWEET HEAVEN.. Is this guy on drugs?? If he didn’t have a direct line to the phone on Obama’s nightstand, it would be pure comedy! The word HYPOCRITE is simply not enough for this case.

That Obama gives Stern the time of day is testimony to birds of a feather fly together.

The word terrorists best describes union bosses.
This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
