ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports: President Obama will participate in multiple events today to mark Martin Luther King day. The President and the First Lady will first participate in a service event in the Washington, DC area. Back at the White House, Mr. Obama will also sit down with a small group of African American seniors and their grandchildren to discuss the legacy of the civil rights movement. To round out the day honoring Dr. King, the Obamas will attend the “Let Freedom Ring” concert at the Kennedy Center. The nights performances will feature, "nationally renowned artists and choir members from Washington area churches," the White House says. The President is anticipated to deliver brief remarks before the audience. — Sunlen Miller
