The Presidential Planner
ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports:
As part of the “White House to Main Street” tour, President Obama today will travel to Elyria, Ohio to hold a town hall at the Lorain County Community College.
“During the visit, President Obama will meet with Ohio workers, local CEOs, small business owners and other local leaders about ideas for continuing to grow the economy and put Americans back to work,” White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said, previewing the visit.
President Obama will tour the Wind Turbine Manufacturing and Fab Lab facilities at Lorain County Community College, as well, and make stops at local businesses in the Lorain County area to speak to Ohio workers and families about the challenges they are facing, the White House said.
The well-timed, previously announced visit comes as the White House is refocusing on the economy – following the “anger” heard expressed through the results of the Massachusetts special election race this week.
In December, the “White House to Main Street” tour was launched with the jobs summit at the White House, and then a presidential visit to Allentown, Pa., that same week.
The president will return to the White House in the evening after spending most of the day in Ohio.

Obama Avoids Questions on Contraception Rule
Is he finally ready to admit that maybe we can’t spend our way out of this mess? Help the private sector and you create jobs…..real, wealth-producing jobs and not more government jobs that simply suck the life out of the economy.

The definition of disconnect: Yesterday President Obama put his mad face on and went after the banks with new regulations. How does that affect my friend Lou who was laid off from GM last year and is still looking for employment? Last week, or the week before, Mr. Obama announced new bank fees. That sure sounded serious, but Lou it didn’t help Lou land a job. The president cried out with some level of passion, “the banks must pay the American people back, make them whole again!” Lou looked in his bank acct and saw no “special” deposits from the banks “paying him back, making him whole”. It may be “populist” and all that jazz, but it’s all meaningless, cheap talk to my friend Lou, the father of four with a mortgage and a car payment, and no job.

People are on to him.Whenever the going gets tough, get out of Dodge. All he can do is campaign and even that is getting thin. His FED nominee is in trouble, health care is going down the drain and the jobless rate continues to be awful-and what does he do? A scripted “town hall” meeting full of empty-headed sycophants. We’ve seen this play before. He is a poor executive and a worse leader.

Obama thinks he lost in MA because he was “so busy getting things done”.
Like being in constant campaign mode, apology tours, two useless trips to Copenhagen, Leno/Letterman, 412 speeches, 170 social events at the White House.
Back on the campaign trail today.
Get away from reality and run to an adoring crowd.

He is clearly focusing back in on jobs and economic issues. Although I’m sure he’ll be attacked for it (just like he’d be attacked as ‘doing nothing’ if he worked on them from the Whitehouse).

“He is clearly focusing back on jobs..” What else can he do? His legislative agenda is going down the drain. This mediocrity has had a year to do something-all he has done is not get in the way of the Reid-Pelosi agenda to run up 3 trillion in debt. Now his stupidity is going to crash the market.

Hmmm just a few days ago it was your brother.
I guess the new right wing spam tactic is to pretend you actually care about people hurting in this economy.
Ya know the people you called parasites during the election.
