From Sunlen Miller: Keeping focus on the economy, President Obama today will meet with the Middle Class Task Force at the White House. Set up a year ago this week, the task force has held 11 meetings around the county and at the White House. The president will sit down with the middle class task force to, “discuss the administration’s commitment to investing in our middle class families who have been struggling in this economy,” the White House says. Vice President Biden chairs the task force, and it’s members are the Secretaries of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Treasury, Commerce, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, and Agriculture; as well as the Directors of the National Economic Council, the Office of Management and Budget, the Domestic Policy Council, and the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors Later, the hoopster-in- chief will have the NBA Champion  Los Angeles Lakers to the White House to honor their 2008-2009 season win. Appearing at this event in the East Room with the team will be Lakers coaches and staff, former Laker greats, and officials from the NBA, the White House says. In the afternoon the President and the Vice President will meet with Kurdistan Regional Government President Barzani in the Oval Office. -Sunlen Miller
