O’Reilly for President? ‘I Have More Power Doing What I’m Doing’
So Bill O’Reilly’s not willing to be the “sane Ross Perot” that Evan Bayh believes could take the White House. He ruled out a run in 2012 and had some advice for Sarah Palin on GMA today… she needs to go to "political college."
He also took on both parties for how they're handling today’s health care summit, "they need to drop the politics…that's not gonna happen."

Riveting questions, George. I was really, really thinking that Bill O’Reilly would be running for President, until you asked him and he said no. Fine piece of journalism!

Why would a good man like O’Reilly want to expose himself in that fishbowl. Both parties would go at him like lions in a butcher shop.

“…for how their handling today’s health care summit…” — Come on, George, you know it’s “they’re” and not “their.”

He would need to run as a democrat, he certainly is not conservative.

Oh wouldn’t that be just wonderful..to have this nutjob hatemongering liar as a president. He could run witht he dimwitted Palin as his VP candidate.

He’s arrogant enough, but he can’t seem to decide which side of the aisle he’s on.

Way to take the “she needs to go to college” quote out of context. And this is why ABC is failing and having lay people off…
Posted by: Steve | February 25, 2010, 8:45 am 8:45 am
Bill is about as balanced as anyone on TV. The only hate-mongering he does is to the judges that let pedophiles out with a slap on the wrist. So which one of those is you leogorky?

Stephanopolis needs to go to college too….
It irks me how folks with marginal command of the fundamentals of the english lanuage lecture the rest of us.
“He also took on both parties for how their handling today’s health care summit”
The proper word is “they’re” (a contraction of the phrase “they are”), not “their”.

I am certainly glad that the angriest, most fearful Catholic in America will continue to play to the terrified fringe instead of dictating policy for all. Most decent people would never allow screamin’ Bill O’Reilly into their homes for dinner with the family, much less the Oval Office. You know, scientists did that study where they proved that people most terrified by images of spiders and snakes and heights and dark people were the ones most likely to vote conservative. O’Reilly does his constituency well by being the most terrified of all. Way to go, Bill.

RE interview with Bill OReilly
George must be losing his journalistic
abi;ity. OReilly stated as a fact that the health care bill would cost six trillion and you didnt challenge him!!!how and where did he get those numbers. He states them as factual and scares the hell out of viewers .Nice job, george!!!

O Reilly has more power as long as he remains in his small pond of admirers. He’s far too emotional to have legitimacy in the real world.

That would require him to actually DO something, instead of simply being the armchair Monday morning quarterback and simply COMMENTING on what’s needed to fix what ails us……….
Posted by: SearamblerOne | February 25, 2010, 9:02 am 9:02 am
Well, if nothing else, an O’Reilly presidency would most likely mark an end to reckless entitlement spending initiatives under the guise of “stimulus” and “reform”. That alone makes him a more attractive option than our current President.

O’Reilly would never run for office because his episode with Andrea Macris would cause him great embarrassment. The complaint is still on the smoking gun and now when i hear him tell people he’s looking out for them i have a good belly laugh.

I was a Bill O’Reilly fan until I realized he was so ill prepared when interviewing guests. I tried to listen to his radio program and couldn’t take the constant “alright” and “OK” cliches he uses. I wondered if he ever listened to a tape of his radio program. I now wonder if he ever watches a tape of his TV program. His lack of preparedness is astonishing. I am no longer a fan.If Beck had a prime slot on FOX then Mr O would be in second or third place on Fox prime….no question in my mind.

There is a reason why Fox News is doing so well right now.. The American people are tired of the media’s indirect slant on politics. At least OReilly tells the benefits of both sides an understands why health care reform would help Americans… just not the current form.

It’s obvious that you, leogorky, don’t watch O’Reilly, probably have never watched him. You’re just joining the debate without any supporting material, other than the echo of those on the left-wing, ding-bat bandwagon.
Yes, O’Reilly can be arrogant, but he’s fair in his attacks and usually makes sense in the process, without going to the extremes of Beck or Coulter.
His take on Palin was right on…so was George’s…he just wasn’t as diplomatic. I like Palin for the most part; it’s her lack of knowledge that bothers me, and it plays right into the hands of the supposedly-intellectual left. Yes, Bill; Pelosi is no genius.
Posted by: Clifton E | February 25, 2010, 9:13 am 9:13 am
The most compelling thing O’Reilly noted was how the media focuses upon the the right & left wing loons who add nothing positive to the debates. He is so correct here. Also, FINALLY, someone has the courage to come out publicly and state that Sarah Palin is intellectually inept.

It’s not that he can’t decide which side of the asile he is on. He is about common sense, something that has been lost up on the hill. I agree that Sarah Palin is a great candidate but she has been unfairly judged.

Bill O’Reilly would not be able to explain away his harrassment of his producer Andrea Macris. That little episode cost him $10million in hush money.
Posted by: MarkD | February 25, 2010, 9:22 am 9:22 am
Let me decode what “intelligent” means to liberals. “Intelligence” means that you are in lockstep agreement with liberal ideology. PERIOD. Thus, Al Gore, who was barely a “C” student at Yale and who then flunked out of BOTH Law School and Divinity School at Vanderbilt is “intelligent” while Bush, who got better grades at Yale and then got his MBA from Harvard and became a jet fighter pilot is a moron. Go figure. Up is down and down is up to these uniformly mediocre and mentally weak wealth redistributors.

O’Reilly is a good guy, with a good heart, but who’s demonized endlessly for speaking too plainly about things. People want things sugarcoated these days, in “proper” social (ie elitist) language, and O’Reilly just doesn’t care who he pisses off. The world needs more people like him, but he wouldn’t be effective in the White House. He doesn’t have the personality-type needed to make concessions or have to cozy up with the bureaucratic-mobster class we’ve had running the country since the death of JFK.
Posted by: danske | February 25, 2010, 9:34 am 9:34 am
These people just don’t get it with Sarah Palin. This gal as knowledgable as any politician seeking office and more commonsense than most. But people like O’Reilly in trying to appear ‘independent’ so he can be interviewed by the mainstream media, who despise Palin because she is such an excellent conservative, is afraid to admit Sarah is a powerful force and more than capable to be president.
Posted by: Vince Hugh | February 25, 2010, 9:34 am 9:34 am
Fox’s strategy is to slowly make OReilly the center by making Beck the right winger. They have cleverly rebranded OReilly and now his views which used to be called right wing are now called middle of the road. The views are the same, the label has changed. The struggle to reclaim public opinion in this country from the progressives will take a generation and mainstreaming OReilly is only a start.
Posted by: nostromo | February 25, 2010, 9:38 am 9:38 am
Bill O’Reilly used to make some sense. Now that he feels the government should be able to seize private firearms during a crisis ie. Hurricane Katrina, just when they are needed most, proves he is liberal minded. I stopped watching his program on FOX ever since he stated that. That mindset is dangerous to our freedom, and our Constitution.

In O’Reilly’s mind he has more power than the President. But he is like most politicians, running left or right depending on the mood of the public.
O’Reilly knows it all. Just ask him.

O’Reilly is a circus clown. He’s got no core values. He’s all over the map on his “views.” Stick around long enough, and his “views” will change like the weather. I don’t understand how any female from Fox can go on his show. He’s disrespectful and demeaning mostly to women, but also anyone else. O’Reilly is a shell of his former self. He pretty much sleepwalks thru his 2-3 minutes of airtime between commercials, where he makes all his money from and tells the real tale of him still hanging around on the air. Glen Beck is the future.

He might be able to get a “little” more support than Palin – but I doubt a whole lot more. On the other hand, Pat learned “his lesson” mellowed out a little and is currently someone you don’t mind listening to on political talk shows. But O’Reilley? Of course, Bill thinks he has more power in his present postion because his present employer encourages its journalists to bend the facts, not cover the facts, or outright lie–and, he never has to worry about it. People like Bill can even sexually harass fellow employees and get away with it, stay on the air, and think they display credibility–just like Bill. And he has his own dark issues, like incredible arrogance and hypocrisy. So, he could be a good politician, but a real disaster in any office.

O’Reilly is a fair and impartial JOURNALIST, one of a very few[George Stephanopoulos not among them], who looks at both points of view. Only the loons think otherwise. The “lamestream media” is mostly loons and instead of looking at both sides they present the favorable view of their side and the unfavorable view of the other THAT IS NOT JOURNALISM!

The democrats would love to have a third party candidate – it would siphon off enough independent votes that through the unions, ACORN, and other nefarious groups, they could continue their ruination of this country.

Sometimes I agree with O’Reilly .. it can happen.
The country is in a mess, and the squeeky wheel is ALL that gets the grease anymore.
I’m so sick of the left and the right I could spit..
And the people who get entertained by the daily dose of poison they are administered by the ‘entertainers’ who exist to divide.
What a generation.. we have everything we could dream of LITERALLY.. we can make dreams happen, as a nation we could develop just about anything we put our mind to if we need.. we are at the height of a technology boom and the sky is the limit for the future..
And yet we spend our energies and monies and resources fighting each the name of partisan ‘one-upper-y’.
Over 50 years of my paying attention, this is the worst, scatter brained, no good, do nothing, piece of work group of Representatives that there should ever have the displeasure of being here on Gods green earth.
Squeeky wheels, shut up
Congress, get to work
Senate, get over yourself

O’Reilly had a scandal a few years back. He had to pay off a woman that he had been sexually inappropriate with.
She was one of his employees. If he runs for any office, these incidents will be front and center in the MSM (aka
LSM).

Bill O’Really for president. Good Lord, if I wanted to see fair and balanced (ha) reporting, I would turn on Faux, but seeing that horses ass who claims he is neutral on a network station is absurd. He likes to play the part of neutral but his true colors usually come shining through. Hey Don, O’Reilly has been instrumental in getting Jessica’s Law passed in most of the states where it is law. Wikipedia’s not the most reliable source, but “John Walsh of America’s Most Wanted and Bill O’Reilly of The O’Reilly Factor have been vocal proponents of Jessica’s Law, arguing that children have to be protected and that child sex offenders have to be held to a much higher standard. O’Reilly points out that the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Hawaii and Vermont have shown reluctance and refused to pass a Jessica’s Law in their respective state legislatures.[12] He claims that Utah, North Carolina and New Mexico are inconclusive while all other states are either moving in the direction of passing a Jessica’s Law or have already passed some form of it. North Carolina passed the Jessica Lunsford Act in 2008.”

I’m voting for Ron Paul. We need someone who understands basic economics in the White House. The Republicans use to understand this and at one time the Democrats did as well. Both parties no longer have a grasp of the basic concepts anymore. While he runs as a Republican, Ron Paul is a libertarian and more importantly so a follower of the Austrian school of economics. I would not vote for O’Reilly.

Young people please please take some time and do your research. When I talk to young people today of all races and back grounds. I find you do not do your research. You should never take people like O’Reilly’s word. He tell you that all the time but he does not mean it because if you did your research you would not look at his show. He is getting paid millions of dollars to keep you entertained and he is the best at it. O’Reilly is looking out for himself people. You can take that to the BANK. Look at CSPAN. It has a good mix of opinions without a high paid bag of hot AIR telling you what to think. Health debates has been shown on CSPAN with all sides opinions. I mean great debates. Everybody has good points from their point of view. If you had looked at some of the debates on CSPAN before today you would know if this debate is only theater because you would know the facts from all sides of the issue. The only people being hurt by not having good healthcare in America is me and you. All sides agree and I mean all agree we need to do something fast. So please go to the CSPAN site and look at the pass debates.

I can rant and rave with the best of them. But how else am I going to get heard? I’m not an elected representative. I’m a concerned citizen that sees certain things wrong and wants to change them.
Look, I admit to sometimes throwing in some pretty outrageous arguments to support my positions, but, man, it’s the ratings thing, you know.
Besides, the average citizen knows what I’m doing.
Dissent. Being the voice of dissent. Jefferson, Monroe, Paine. They were all critics. Pundits, if you will, before they were the power.
I already have power. The President? He doesn’t have any power. He’s got to answer to Congress, to special interests, to the Court. To a lesser degree to the people, but I got power: one voice, one vote.

I’m a rare breed, a Republican in California. I actually do think that we can come together on this Bill. But, there is one major topic I think each and every American is going to agree on #1 Cost. Yes Obama, the “American People” will not tolerate a raise of taxes of 10 to 13%! This Country is already broke, I’m broke , the Insurance Companies system is broke..We do need ever so desperately Health-care reform but when you so boldly say at around 9:05Pacific time that us tax payers will be sporting this “Bill” which we pay for do now & our tax will increase by 10-13%that’s crazy-talk.#2 I do not remember the Senators name but I agree that yes we should have mystery patients to see who is defrauding the system and fine them an asternomical amount of money to help pay for this “Bill”! #3 Last comment Yes the American people do want this “Bill” done right & not just pushed through. So take a little extra time 6 months is reasonable amount to get it right I think.Oh and yes try to shorten it up so the Doctors don’t take so much time away from their patients.

I believe O’Reilly just as much as I believe a Florida Sheriff that stated that a woman that swims with animals for a living fell into a pool and drowned, despite several witnesses that said the killer whale grabbed her and shook her so violently that her shoe flew off. That whale could have flopped out of its pool, rolled out into the parking lot, smashed into Michael Phelps locked car and dragged his body back into the pool, and the sheriff and Sea World CEO’s would state that Michael Phelps drowned. I hope that anyone that ever stands accused by the Florida sheriffs department of a crime, pulls that footage out and proves that the sheriffs department can be paid off.

RE: Posted by: Mike | Feb 25, 2010 8:47:42 AM
Mike, in your earlier post you made a claim as who scientists say are most apt to vote conservative. You didn’t acknowledge your source, but I suspect it “thin air”.
History has many examples of peoples, or segments of populations, that have been marginalized by the perpetuation of myths. For example years ago a roommate in college told me that his mother was raised in such an insulated community that it wasn’t until she was in her teens that she realized that (contrary to what she had been taught) Catholics do not really have horns (true story).
I think in you post you are contributing our society’s mythology of political conservatives. I want to refer you to a *real* scientific study by Arthur C. Brooks. At the time he was a professor Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. This professor who had admitted liberal leanings published his results in his very readable 2006 book entitled “Who Really Cares”. His research results shatter commonly accepted views as to which group, liberals or conservatives, donate the most to society and its less fortunate. His quantified research shows clearly that the latter group gives more in time, money, and even blood to the needy. For example, the per capita dollar charitable donation of the residents of North Dakota (very high percent of conservatives there) is the same as the folks that live in the liberal bastion of San Francisco, even though these most liberal of the liberal folks’ average income is *twice* what it is in the state of N.D.
So, if you are a guy that really wants the truth, check out the book at your local library (U.S.free library system established through donations the conservative Andrew Carnegie in early 20th century), or buy it for less than $10 as a used book on Amazon.com., or simple google his book’s title for more info on his research findings. But if you really want to just avoid inconvenient truths and prefer to continue perpetuating self-comforting myths (contrary to the valid scientific research which shows otherwise) keep on doing what you are doing.

Mr. O’Reilly would have more understanding of the issues affecting our country than ANY other president in our history. He has an unwaving moral character that is in tune with what this country needs to pull itself out of the morass it finds itself in. His common sense and steadfast character in the face of incredible opposition is absolutely admirable, yet he manages all this with lighthearted humor and incredible tactfulness. An O’Reilly presidency would benefit not only America, but the entire world.

You didn’t need to be even half-awake to have smelt the stench of *that* hoax from the get-go. O’Reilly, looking out for “the folks,” yeah right. Sure. In other words, if he runs, he will lose, plain and simple. He has a better chance on keeping his job for Fox News than winning the Presidency. Besides, why put just anyone who is a mouth for the republican party as a candidate? Is the GOP that desperate?
Posted by: EB | February 25, 2010, 3:21 pm 3:21 pm
O’Reilly for President? Hardly.
He is not a conservative.
Only a few years ago he was saying that anthropogenic global warming was true, when conservatives, now proven right, were saying it was a hoax.
He pushed hard for Jessica’s Law, which did nothing to protect children from sexual predators, but did much to harm the innocent children and spouses of no-risk sex offenders, and even led to the death of a child in Georgia because of their version of the law. I have heard prosecution and defense attorneys, as well as state legislators, credit O’Reilly for this law. Now law enforcement is spread so thin, having to supervise those who don’t pose a danger, they can’t supervise the very few who do.
O’Reilly, like Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, John McCain, and others only follow the wind as it blows around them in their isolated worlds. None have the leadership to lead in the right direction regardless of the wind. Add to that the primary purpose of what O’Reilly does – make money for O’Reilly. Nothing wrong with that, but such self-absorbed character does not make for a great President.

This guy has toned it down the last few months—now that the ratings are way up because “the folks” have figured out Mainstream Media has been lying—he’s acting all moderate and down the middle lately—trying to keep the new viewers—guess what big mouth, you’re going to lose the old losers by trying to cower to the Left, all for the name of ratings.
Interent and radio is the best place to go now that even O’Reilly, all 10m a year and with sexual harrassment suits, has gone moderate.

His show, the #1 watch cable news show for the past nine years, should impress even his detractors. I know it does Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow. That’s why half their face times in front of their cameras are spent dissing him, and other Fox News shows.
Thank you Fox News for giving the both sides a platform to present their views on our country’s complex issues.

Yes!!!! both he and Glenn Beck should be in the presidency and vice presidency—preferably in 2010, but that is not possible–so let us all get together for 2012 and “DO IT”. Count me in……Lee

O’Reilly for President? Hardly.
He is not a conservative.
Only a few years ago he was saying that anthropogenic global warming was true, when conservatives, now proven right, were saying it was a hoax.

Have you looked at the lineup of embiciles at today’s pep rally on healthcare. How could O’Reilly be any worse that this bunch. Pelosi, Reid, Biden & Obama and the rest of the group cannot possibly represent the best & brightest. If so, we are doomed. Eric Holder, the ambulance chaser-in-chief, will preside over the new banana republic that replaces what used to be a noble country. The founding fathers are spinning at red line RPMs in their graves.
Posted by: Nobama | February 25, 2010, 3:42 pm 3:42 pm
Even reading all these comments cements the notion that the country is in a bad place. O’Reilly is most certainly a conservative republican, nothing he believes in falls on the left.
Palin might have common sense as far as motherhood gives you, but she knows next to nothing about what’s going on, just the fact that Jeb would come out and say that, a member of her own party, is pretty convincing that maybe all the low-class-brain-washed ultra-right wing conservatives who for some reason are convinced she is fit to lead a country can realize settle down and rethink their position.
But I will say, O’Reilly has grown on me, I hated him through all his war mongering and support for Bush, but the guy sticks to his guns, and he’s hilarious and he’s right about Pelosi and Harry Reed, there’s no reason to spend a trillion dollars when you already spent a trillion more dollars than you made this year.
The left has gotten as bad as the right, swimming in animal rights, green energy, more government jobs and all out socialism, there is no balance anymore.
When will everybody stop being so polarized?

Hey leogorky, why do Democrats constantly call people that disagree with them stupid (or dimwitted, or nuts)? I may not like Sarah Palin, but she’s not stupid. Neither was George Bush, though you guys tried to make everyone think so. I would tell you to use facts and logic in your arguments, but, as a typical liberal, you don’t have those things on your side.

Bill O’Reilly is not conservative nor Libertarian… He’s too politically correct. He won’t even refer to Barack Obama as a socialist when Barack Obama is a Socialist.
Bill is just too much like John McCain to be a good president.

Mr. Bill love his show, and that’s what it is folks, a show. What he does do is draw attention to all the faults then beats them to death. We still get to decide, and will vote those decisions on Nov 2nd. Then again more importantly again in Nov 2012. If were still allowed to vote by then that is.

O’Reilly, like Limbaugh, would not stand a chance in an election. It’s easy to be an entertainer, a critic, a jester, or a buffoon. It’s much harder to actually get elected. He may be the king of cable news, but with only a million followers in a country of 300, he could not even get elected to a school board.

Bill is about as balanced as anyone on TV. The only hate-mongering he does is to the judges that let pedophiles out with a slap on the wrist. ..

O’Reilly would have to get off the fence in order to run for president. He would have to take a stand on something and quit pretending he’s above it all. He does, however, display the arrogance of an Obama, so maybe…

There IS a reason why Fox News prime-time lineup easily beats CNN and MSNBC. Heck 2 months ago, Fox News had 3 times the rating of CNN and MSNBC combined!
Even Fox News 3am show beat CNN and MSNBC primetime lineup.
Also also the latest poll shows Fox News as the most trusted news network in the country and Fox News is the number 1 cable channel too. CNN was 22nd and MSNBC was 24th.

If he has more power than president hussen, then he is more deserving of the blame for the mess this country is in. Actually, the neocon is making a killing and dosen’t want to risk anything for the good of the country.

Honestly? Evan Bayh said that O’Reilly could be President? What has happened to you George? Why not just make Pat Robertson President, nothing for Haiti, hate, hate, hate. Don’t you miss America at all? Pseudo news is NOT better than no news at all.
You know, there is a group out there called Oath Keepers. They are made up of former military personnel, sheriff and police. This was the group that originally included Timothy McVeigh.
You think this silly mess is more important than domestic terrorists? There is a man running for the Senate in NC, named D’Annunsio and he wants to kill all gay people and liberals. He is polling 2 to 1 in favor. He could be the Republican nominee. The news, the really critical news is what keeps Democracy safe. If we allow lies to flourish, your children will live with the consequences, as will everyone’s children.
Right now in Texas there is a battle over whether or not children will be taught that there was nothing before Adam and Eve. That makes science, true science impossible. The Texas school book order is so large that other schools don’t have the money for a rewrite and reprint. It will be what the nation learns.
You think that whether or not that crank O’Reilly runs for President is more important to talk about than what our children learn, and what they will know compared to the rest of the world. They will look like fools telling the Chinese that the world is 6000 years old.
Please let me write the news for you. I actually know what is and isn’t news.

Had I known about the interview I would have turned on the TV but I didn’t. However, I’ve watched O’Reilly for about two years and he is finally losing his appeal. Not only is he not a conservative, but he is a fraud! Every day he is hawking his book and other stuff for sale. I am sick of it. O’Reilly’s ego would certainly match Obama’s though, but I could never imagine him as president. Like Obama, O’Reilly is unable to make decisions. Plus, like Gingrich, he seems to have some smelly skeletons in his closet.

Pathetic eyes of the blind. Stop voting for puppets like O’Reilly, Palin, Obama, Bush. Heres an idea why not vote for a person who really cares about our countries well being, mabye like (D)Sen. Jim Webb or (R)Rep. Ron Paul
Just cause they recieve the most money doesnt mean they should be President (senator,Representative, Governor and so on)
Think for yourself!!!

Power? POWER?? O’Reilly is like a rooster who thinks his crowing in the morning makes the sun rise.
He reminds me of an old, old joke about Mitt Romney’s dad, 1968 presidential candidate George Romney, then governor of Michigan.
Reporter: “Nice day, governor”.
Romney: “Thank you”.

The reason O’Reilly said the healthcare reform bill could cost up to 6 trillion is because EVERY GUB-MENT ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE LAST 45 YEARS HAS COST 2-6 TIMES THE ORIGINAL PROPOSED BUDGET.
They never get the costs right, and they don’t care. “Billo”, no matter what you think of his style, is a common sense genius!

The Factor is the only cable show I watch anymore since it’s only place I can trust to bring up the wrongs by both party leaders and our legal system.
He hammers both sides equally and has given the President a very fair assessment during this last year without once diving into partisan rhetoric for either side.
I get the biggest kick seeing some people say he’s a left wing loon, and others say he’s a right wing hack.
He’s a hybrid, like most of us. And Im glad he’s out there exposing some of the bad stuff going on out there by the people who are supposed to be representing us.

Power? What power? What has he changed using his power? Nothing, but keeping his viewers entertained and being paid by his advertizers.
Keep driving your beer truck, Don, because you obviously have no idea what the hell you’re talking about.
If Democrats want power, they MUST run for political office because they can’t make it in TV or radio, and the current Neilsens and the collapse of Air America proves it!
Democrats are such a disaster in the media that the only power they have is in Washington, and even THAT is falling apart because they’re all a bunch of selfish, self-serviing, lying thug SOCIALISTS who couldn’t tell the truth to their own infant child if their SOUL depended on it!
If successful conservative TV and radio hosts like Rush, Bill, Glenn, and Sean were STUPID enough to quit their media gigs and get into politics, you’d have to question their mental sanity, because they ARE much more powerful in the media, because they’re ALL KICKING THE LIBERAL MEDIA’S ASS EVERY SINGLE DAY!!

MarkD-You’re obvisouly not a viewer. He has caused a few judges to be removed or resign. He has helped get Jessica’s Law passed in several states that otherwise would not have passed the laws because of progressive/liberal lawmakers. Those are just a few of the things O’Reilly has accomplished on behalf of ‘the folks’ as he puts it. In short, he holds those in power accountable. Try watching his show, MarkD, you might learn something.

Stephanopoulos did a “puff piece” interview with conservative phony Bill O’Reilly. Everybody, including Bill O’Reilly, knows that he is not an “independent” as he claims (in other words as he lies). Al Franken did an investigation and proved that O’Reilly was actually a registered Republican in New York.
Stephanopoulus refused to challenge O’Reilly on a lot of things. He let O’Reilly take a lot of swipes at the left and get away with taking much, much fewer at the right).
Shame on you George!

It seems Republican party is on the payroll of big business. Being a minority party both in the House and senate, instead;of contributing some useful ideas for the good our country, they are bitter and acting in a manner as the real worst enemy of USA. Republican should be ashamed of their behavior because they are somehow blind and working against the best interest of our great country.

He’s got a bullying chip on his shoulder and unfortunately those who watch his show are subject to this kook’s shortcomings
