The Presidential Planner
From Sunlen Miller:
On the one-year anniversary of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act President Obama will deliver remarks on the economy in the South Court Auditorium this morning.
Vice President Biden will deliver a report to President Obama today looking at the progress to-date of the stimulus legislation, one-year after being signed into law.
On Tuesday, two senior administration officials briefed reporters on the report and said that the White House believes it has achieved its goals for the Recovery Act in Year One – immediate economic rescue and recovery. But one official declined to say if the legislation was the signature piece of legislation from the president’s first term.
