The Presidential Planner

With the federal government closed for the third day in a row, and a fresh blanket of snow fallen on the Washington, D.C. area, the President will stay behind-closed-doors today.

The only event on the president’s schedule will be a late morning meeting with African American leaders in the Oval Office. The White House says the group will discuss the economy and jobs.

The expected attendees include:

Dr. Dorothy I. Height, Chairwoman, National Council of Negro Women

Benjamin T. Jealous, President, NAACP

Marc H. Morial, President and CEO, National Urban League

Rev. Al Sharpton, President and Founder, National Action Network
