It is so sad to see remarks by folks who do not see the whole picture. Those folks are led by mob shouting and riling up the crowd so that intelligence is completely gone. I think I’m going to go on a crusade this is it: MEN who are ranting against abortion here’s your solution, go out and get a vasectomy! and it will be paid for by health insurance! Then you will not have to worry that your woman will go and get an abortion as there will be no need!

ABC News makes this HCR bill sound really good, they neglect to tell you all the bad points. Now I know where you liberals have been getting your facts, certainly not out of the actual bill!
I love how you all say Choice, yet you would take away the choice of those who don’t agree with YOU. YOU are all a shameful lot of people. YOU talk about welfare to the needy, yet how much have you given to those in need in THIS country? Bet not much.
You talk about winning tonight, YOU have all just lost because it is not going to be the rich paying for this bill like ABC tells you – it’s all of us. And if you think not, you may as well go bury your head back in the sand.

You make this about abortion, every one of us has a right to our own opinion for now, don’t think that will last long, but right now we still do. Anyone who brings abortion to the table..brings nothing!!!
PRO LIFE means you approve and fight for all life..this means the SICK and the ones who are disabled and people who don’t have a job and people who need food..There is so much work and energy to put towards THE LIVING….other than into a cohersing or frightening a single potential parent..who may not be capable of taking care of an infant..who may be so immature and not ready to have kids. When a child is born into bad situation..it’s not PRO LIFE…it’s cruel.
This bill is a first step to regulating how much the insurance companies can profit off the fact that they DON”T PROVIDE HEALTH CARE. And these morons don’t get one point of it.
The democrats have ALWAYS been PRO LIFE..for the ones suffering here and NOW! Thats what these morons don’t get..and probably never will.

My mother was a registered nurse who believed devoutly in the freedom to choose. Why? Because she trained to be a nurse during WWII, well before Roe vs. Wade, and saw the results of illegal abortions in the emergency rooms – septicemia, women bleeding to death from perforated wombs… all of it. She lost an aunt as a child to a botched abortion. Ever wonder why the doctors in this country who still perform abortions even if it means bodyguards are all old? They remember. There will always be accidental pregnancies and desperate women. We had a chance to give them a safe alternative to the knitting needle or the coat hanger, but to appease people who have never had to face that choice, we caved. Shame on us.

I would like to see some of these Pro-Life people sit in the real world as a neglected, or maybe unwanted, mistake, in a possibly alcoholic, disfunctional family that can’t take care of their children, and then pass judgement on abortion. My wife, and I adopted a couple of kids, who could be in that same, or worse place, but our kids were lucky. Many are not. I’m not an abortion lover, but I am a realist, and I don’t even like this “Stupak, or Stupid” deal. It leaves the people who are maybe least able to afford, or maybe even take care of a child, stuck. There is an imaginary world out there that people often refer to as God’s World, where everything works just right, but in the real world there are a lot of bad decisions, by people, where God is there to help us through the tough decisions, which aren’t always pretty.
