David Frum, George W. Bush’s former speech writer said on GMA this morning that instead of repealing the health care bill GOP leaders should “work on fixing its worst effects.”
ABC News political contributor levied the partisan blame for the health care aftermath with the President, “In the end, it’s the president’s responsibility, it’s the administration’s responsibility, and they did not do what was necessary to sell the American public to put pressure on the Republicans on this.”
Also buzzing this weekend was Sarah Palin. With 55% of American’s holding an unfavorable view of the former Vice Presidential candidate, is she the right face for a Republican party trying to regain control this November?
David Frum said “It’s not helpful” but Matthew Dowd thought “Nearly 70% of Republicans like her. So when she goes to a place like Arizona to help John McCain it’s a benefit for him.”
