Nancy Pelosi’s Birthday Wish: A Pool Table

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who turns 70 years old tomorrow, is making no bones about it: her biggest birthday wish is not an end to wrangling over health care reform… but learning to shoot a better game of pool.
“You know what I want for my birthday?” she asked reporters after her weekly briefing today. “I want a pool table.”
Pelosi said that she will likely be getting a new stove or kitchen – “and that’s good,” she said. But “I’ve always wanted a pool table. We’ll see how I do.”
Pelosi said she wants to spend more time with her grandchildren playing the cue sport.
When asked if she’s a good player Pelosi said, “I want to get better at it.”

Let her retire to spending all her time with her grandchildren. Better for the country.
