Pelosi on Massa: ‘This is a Very Sick Person’

ABC News' Teddy Davis reports: In an interview with Charlie Rose which is set to air on Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi weighed in on former Rep. Eric Massa, the New York Democrat who stepped down on Monday amid allegations of sexual misconduct with male staffers. "This is a very sick person," said Pelosi. "He has been diagnosed with cancer. Perhaps his judgment is impaired because of the ethical issues that have arisen, and he is no longer in the Congress." Pelosi also discussed White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel (whom she praised as a policy wonk), Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., (whom she saluted for stepping aside, at least temporarily, as chairman of the Ways and Means Committee), and the forthcoming score from the Congressional Budget Office (she's not sure when Congress will get it because CBO is independent. She added, however, that her clock to deliver on health care "doesn't start ticking" until she has the CBO numbers in hand).

THIS IS CIRCULATING THE INTERNET AND THIS IS WHAT CONGRESS IS DEFENDING TO KEEP THEIR VOTES. ELECTION DAY WILL BE INTERESTING.
This is what our elected officials have done for you and me. A great thank you to us all.
From an ER doctor
I live and work in a border state overrun with illegals;
they make more money having kids than we earn working fulltime; today I had a 25 year old with 8 kids that’s right 8; all illegal anchor babies
and she had the nicest nails; cell phone; hand bag; clothing etc; she makes about 1500 monthly for each; do the math. I used to say “we are the dumbest nation on earth” now I must say and sadly admit: YOU are the dumbest
people on earth (that includes me) for we elected the idiot ideologues who have passed the bills that allow this; sorry; we need a revolution; Vote ‘em all out in
2010.
REMEMBER—IN NOVEMBER 2010 WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE.
Get mad and pass it on – I don’t know how, but maybe some good will come of this travesty. If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004. She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there’s a ‘catch 22.’ It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.
This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!
Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we
can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470. Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years… And not to receive a increase for 2010 Vote them all out of office…….

I am confused as to how anyone can get money for having more children. The welfare has a limit on the money paid per family and having more children does not get you more money.
I would like to know details from where your facts come.
The woman with 8 children must live in the United States with an address here so doesnt that make her a resident of America?
I am not happy about some of the benefits refugees get over the citizens of our country but I just am unclear as to your sources of information and I would like to know more to have an educated view on presenting this to others and getting something done about the situation. People in our country forget that WE are the people and WE are the government and WE should be running things and not a bunch of suits who are out of touch with the real world of everyday life.

There are so many Doctors, nurse’s an care givers behind this HC reform bill. They have to see a lot of good in this bill to stand so firm behind it. I think when a ilegal immigrant can get Health Care an that the legal ones an the Americans cannot, some thing is very wrong with our Health Care system. My husband could have lived for yrs. if he could have afforded pre-screening for his cancer! but he lived 18 mo’s instead, an Tax payers paid millions in surgery, emergency rooms,Ambulance,Kemo,Radiation an than home health. All because he didn’t have Health Ins. he could afford, an after they found the cancer it was to late, an Medicaid ended up footing the bill for him. This is happeing to millions now, who’s kicked of Insurance for pre-existing, an who can’t afford Health care Ins. at all! Ya, your paying out your back side but won’t do anything to hellp the situation!

Check out Glenn Dumbeck’s show featuring Massa. It’s on youtube. Dumbeck thought he was getting a scoop having Massa on for a full hour. Instead he got to listen to Massa apologize to the democratic party, that he left on his own and it wasn’t the democrats fault! What was funny was that Dumbeck tried to get Massa to spill something…. anything bad but Massa just kept upholding the democrats and only speaking good of them! Wait till you see the numerous shots of Dumbeck’s face looking more and more frustrated until he finally realizes that Massa isn’t going to give Dumbeck the scoop he wanted! Hilarious!!

MOST AMERICANS DO NOT WANT GOVERNEMENT-RUN OBAMACARE. HOPEFULLY, THE OBAMA-PELOSI-REID TRAIN IS ABOUT TO WRECK. THEIR “HOPEY-CHANGEY” STUFF IS NOT WORKING!

This is very funny Nancy, coming from you, because most of the country thinks you too, are a very sick individual.

Proud American aka Sarah Palm Reader Palin: while your “most Americans” don’t want Obamacare, more Americans do want healthcare reform. Your prediction of a train wreak is wishful thinking. By the way, that “hopey changey” wording you used is really childish!

Obama spent his time as a Junior Senator running for President. If he couldn’t do his Senate job, how can he possibly do this one? Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Biden, Dean, Kerry, Kennedy and the other liberals based the entire 2008 campaign on lies. Obama is campaigning again, trying to get approval for Obamacare. This corrupt administration simply cannot be trusted.
