Rep. Charlie Rangel Set to Resign Post as Chairman of Ways and Means
EmailAccording to Democratic officials, New York Congressman
Charlie Rangel is set to temporarily step down from his chairmanship of
the House Ways and Means committee.
After violating House
rules last week and continuing investigations by the House Ethics
committee into Rangel's campaign finances and unreported income from
rental properties, the Congressman has been the focus of growing
pressure to resign his post as chairman.
One Senior Democratic Official tells me that Representative Pete
Stark of California is set to take over the chair for the time being,
but debate on the issue continues.

Pete Stark to take over the chair?
Just what the Democrats need to give to the Republicans. Another congressman in hot water for fiddling with his property taxes in Maryland.
Not to mention he is the only declared atheist in congress.
No way the Republicans would make a point of those two issues, would they?

THE HEADLINE STATES THAT THE SENATOR IS GOING TO RESIGN THE POST,AND THEN BELOW IST STATES THAT HE WILL TEMPORARILY STEP DOWN. WHICH IS IT IT.

I can promise that if this were a Republican, Brian Ross would be digging for any tidbit of corruption… But of course that won’t happen. How silly of me to even suggest that a crook like Rangel be held to the same standards by the Obama Media? At some point, ABC will learn that we expect you to be unbiased – Instead we turn to the Alternative Media to get the real news.

The saddest part of the Charlie Rangel drama, is the lack of media coverage on this whole debacle. The recent statements offered by the House Ethics Committe were absolutely ridiculous. I can no longer view George, Diane, or any other ABC reporter as legitimate. You chase Congressman Bunning to an elevator, but you let the real crooks walk out the front door unscathed?!?!?
