From Sunlen Miller President Obama will hit the road this morning, and will travel to Glenside, Pennsylvania to speak about health care reform at Arcadia University. This will one of two stops the president will make this week to sell his health care proposal – on Wednesday the president will also be in St. Louis to hold a similar event. After returning back to the White House the President will honor the BCS National Champions, the Alabama Crimson Tide football team for winning their 13th championship and having an undefeated season last year. The president will also meet with President Funes of El Salvador in the Oval Office. To mark International Women’s Day – Mr. and Mrs. Obama will hold a reception in the East Room honoring women from around the world for their achievements. This reception’s program will include actress Kerry Washington as Emcee, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Afghan singer Mozdah Jamalzadah, and singer Katharine McPhee. In the evening, the President will meet with Senator Schumer and Senator Graham in the Oval Office “to get an update on their efforts toward producing a bipartisan immigration reform bill,” the White House says. -Sunlen Miller
