The Presidential Planner

From Sunlen Miller:

President Obama today will be back out on the road selling health care and will visit Strongsville, Ohio. Today’s visit follows the president’s speeches on health care in Pennsylvania and Missouri last week as well.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs last week indicated that the president would be addressing many of the same themes that he has focused on for the past few weeks, in the final push for reform.

“Going through why reform is important; going through what it will do the minute he signs the legislation on behalf of millions of Americans; discussing what happens, again, if we decide now is not the time,” Gibbs said. “We’re doing this not because it’s easy; we’re doing this not because the president is concerned about or looking to the next election, but looking to the next generation.”

The president is anticipated to return to Washington, D.C., in the evening.

I really don’t think Strongsville is the place for Obama right now. These are “working upper class” people that actually pay for what they have. We in Ohio DO NOT want Obamacare!

If the average middle class American does not do what his boss wants, he gets fired. Since the Congress and Administration plan to ram a healthcare bill into law the American people do not want, they should be FIRED. It is time to VOTE THEM OUT!!! The Congress and Administration want to use a process that was never intended to be used for this purpose to ram this bill into law against the will of the American people. This sets a dangerous precedent that subverts our system of government. Anyone that votes in favor of this bill is the enemy of our system of government. It is time to VOTE THEM OUT!!! Abraham Lincoln said “and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth”. The American people are the boss not the Congress or Administration. It is time to take our government back from the arrogant members of Congress and Administration who think they know better how we should live our lives than we do. It is time to VOTE THEM OUT!!!

The November 2010 elections can’t get here soon enough. Vote Betty Sutton(D-Ohio) out in 2010 and Sherrod Brown(D-Ohio) out in 2012. Both ignore what the people want and support shoving Obamacare down our throats.

The Republican right would like to pretend this is clear cut, but it isn’t.
Americans generally support the various provisions in the bill – they don’t like Congress or politicians, nor the messy process.
The most recent poll (Associated Press) shows opinion almost equally split on the current reform (41 -43).
Also, President Reagan’s approval was way down at 35% during his first term – should he have been fired because of this?
