The cost is a lie, Medicare “doc fix” has been left out purposely to fool the public. It would add some $250 billion, check the facts at the CATO website.
“This has been tough from day one. It’s been tough for 40 years,” Biden said. And Joe is right, Americans are resilient and they continue to resist SOCIALISM.
The WH and the congress lie to the public about Obamacare. It will ration as it has provision to penalize doctors that run up costs, just don’t call it rationing. And look at the abortion doublespeak, ten pages to pretend abortion isn’t covered where just one clear sentence would have prevented abortion. And how about “doc fix” it is $250 billion left out to keep the CBO score down.
I’m afraid we are dealing with pathological liars and ideologues. The question is will their chicanery, dishonesty, bribes and threats pay off for them or will the American people prevail through representation.
Will it be TRANSPARENCY or will it be DESPOTISM?

This must be a joke!
Is that American English?
“Tells What he Tells”?
How about:
Vice President Biden Reveals What he
Tells Wavering Democrats!
Doesn’t ABC have any Proofreaders?

you know that Obama and his henchmen are getting desperate when they have BIDEN, the VP, on an all week mission to convince folks to vote for Obamacare! Normally a President by now has put the VP into a minor role talking to 3rd world rejects etc. Classic. It either shows you that Obama REALLY wants his social, big brother take over or is hedgeing and it looking to be able to BLAME Biden, Pelosi, Reid, etc when his latest nationalization scheme doesn’t pass.

Thanks in large part to right wing ranting, today the idea of socialism is more popular amoung Americans than at any time in history.
Either Americans really like socialism, or Americans really hate right wingers.

Polls now show Socialism as more popular than the Obama health insurance reform bill.
Forget single payer, that weak tea of liberalism, which Obama couldn’t even bring himself to support, America may prefer a Cuban style system now.

I don’t know where you get your information. Then again, non-taxpayers now exceed tax payers. The parasites outnumber those of us who work. So I guess it makes some sense that class envy would become even more popular than it ever was. My parents and and grandparents believed that you got what you wanted through your efforts. You and your ilk believe you get what you want by taking it from others.

Many times I read the political comments, and merely laugh due to the numerous grammatical errors. However, this time, I am pleased to read the comment by the “reaganfan,” because I am beginning to question whether many of those who are in the media have college degrees. Often they make gross grammar errors, and their word choice is horrendous. More than likely they did not graduate from IU-Bloomington’s School of Journalism – Home of the famous Ernie Pyle and the alma mater of Jane Pauley!

I commend drjohn’s above excellent insight, and I would also support the idea to extend our vocabulary with the new word for Socialism, namely Parasiticism.

Wow Flash!
Permit me to correct you so that you can clear up the fog.
If the idea of socialism is more popular then it is without a doubt due to the leftist leaning media and the sickly pop culture we currently enjoy.
Your either or choices are both wrong so it is impossible for you to pick the right answer. Let me help. Americans are pro capitalism and really like Democracy and the fact that we are a Republic. Socialism is not for us, it is for the 2nd World Nations who aren’t strong enough to embrace the concepts set forth in our constitution and bill of rights. Also, Americans don’t hate right wingers, maybe lefty nut cases do. Americans don’t hate either side but they do dislike ignorant spin and disingenuous propaganda.
