Biden Reflects on Grief, Suicidal Thoughts
Is Congress Sounding Dumber?
To Pres. Medvedev: Given the annoucement of the Russian and Chinese agreement, announced in October of 2009, the Russian government and business leaders seem to encourage partnership and investment in deals with their neighbors in a partnership for greater economic growth and use of natural reasources.
Seeing that deal as a success for your country, what advice would you give President Obama in the field of encouraging investment and partnerships, international or otherwise, to encourage economic growth and positive use of reasources?

Oh – Question references an agreement between Russian and the Chinese: NYTimes story published 10/13/2009 – China Signs Deal for Gas in Trade Talk With Putin
“The natural gas deal was called a “framework” by Alexei Miller, the chief of Gazprom, the Russian state-run gas exporter, which made the deal with the China National Petroleum Corporation, China’s largest oil and gas producer.
The deal calls for the supply of nearly 2.5 trillion cubic feet of gas per year via two potential routes originating from Siberia.”

George this is what you do best. I am getting used to you on GMA but you exel in political settings with your calm mannerism and knowledge. I know you are enjoying this gig but I miss you on This Week. Hope you get another political show.

I miss George on Sunday mornings but I was shocked at a question he asked the president that aired on the Evening News tonite. He asked Obama how he felt about something Sarah Palin said. What? Why would the leader of the free world care about anything Palin has to say? What a weird question to ask.

I was also shocked by George’s question to the President during tonight’s interview about the nuclear reduction treaty. What an insult! Sarah Palin has absolutely no relevance to international relations. Barack handled it well, but it was a ridiculous question and totally inappropriate.

Oh Good Lord, George!
What were you thinking to ask the President(Harvard)how he felt about what Sarah Palin (ignoramus)said concerning the nuclear reduction treaty? You’ve got to kidding! George, didn’t you learn anything after the debate debacle? Stop making a fool of yourself!

George,
I can only hope that your sober, thoughtful viewers are giving you an earful regarding the interview with the President in Prague. You bringing Sarah Palin into this serious discussion about the nuclear reduction treaty reflects poorly on you and was embarassing to our President. Truly cringe worthy. The media’s (and your) complicity in elevating this woman into someone of substance is devastating to the intelligent discourse our country and world so desperately need right now.

George,
I just read the above comments and I want to weigh in. I have never been under the impression that you are perfect so if a question you ask is not perceived to be with your normal highly intellectual and tackful manner I have no problem.
In the instance of asking President Obama about the totally ignorant statement former Governor Sarah Palin made about the SALT agreement, I see a point in what you did. Like it or not Ms. Palin get top headlines for the often “goofy” comments she makes. Ms. Palin was in my city with another goofy talker Michelle Bachman and they had a record crowd and made headline news, overshadowing our Governor, who is going to seek to run for President.
I think asking Obama, who most always is tactful, that question was good. Perhaps some people who actually put credibility in Ms. Palin’s remark were enlightened by the President’s thoughtful response.
I do so miss you on Sunday mornings!! I hope the move to GMA was by your initiation. I hope you continue to interview people in the political areana that affect our lives. You are such a talented interviewer it is a pleasure to listen to you.
I so hope you can interview Khalid Mishal sometime, as he is a vital player in the Middle East. I really enjoyed the interview you did with the President of Iran some time ago, so I hope the powers that be at ABC will allow you wide latitude in who you interview.
Congratulations on the achor position on GMA, I suppose your intellect, sunny personality, and sense of humor will reach more people now.
Sincerely,
Dominique

Mr. Stephanopoulos,
I was quite insulted by your laughing reaction to the Russian President’s recent comments about Mr. Obama being a “thoughtful” President. The Russian President gave more respect to our country than you did, by attempting to circumvent to whom he was referring. In a diplomatic setting, it fell to you to defend and protect our leaders, not him. Any vestige of professional journalism you may want to project was lost in your laughter. What a shame.
